Hm, interesting thread people actually justifying buying Yammies instead of investing... no offense to anyone, but this is too funny! As for myself I just ran some numbers for the last year alone, I spent a little over 5k on just the Yammies, but add in collecting Macross cels and it is another 2k over. Sigh.

well as far as I can tell, 106 is far as youtube has at the moment and yes, the entire bounto storyarc is really getting dull. So many of the Bleach characters talk and talk... fight/kill first justify later. Gawds it is irrating to listen to Ishida and others like Ichinose.

Certainly hope not... but I am not loving the boxcover art. Meh.

Well as good as it is to multitask, I never recommend passively watching great anime or films. With that in mind if you really want to enjoy Macross take the time to sit down with the kids and watch Macross together. Reading subtitles is NOT that hard, it just takes practice like any other skill worth learning/retaining. IMO some of the greatest animes ever created are BEST viewed in with the original Japanese dialogue, but that is merely my ten cents. Good luck.

I would. I respectfully disagree, but perhaps I am biase somewhat b/c I was among the early people who help drive the online petition and preordered the first box set dvd editions. I don't have any problems whatsoever with my set, no cracking or damage and the box is is fab condition too. Still I don't care much about the special features unless it includes some we find on youtube like the anniversary chronology and interviews w/staff, rare design art/cel work, and behind the scenes from pre-production and production of the tv series.

Anymore updates? I really love this project and want to see MORE CHUNKY LOVING!!!!
