VF-18S Hornet

Saw the Anymoon review and tried the fix myself. I managed to successfully seperate the intake joint from the leg and found out the idiots had glued the ball nub (as I am calling it) to the metal, and did not let it dry as they connected the ball joint to the plastic piece that connecto the intake. Had to use pliers to get the nub loose. Now I gotta figure out what glue to apply to plastic and metal, get some sandpaper, the nub is a little rough.

Well the unthinkable has happened to me as I just flushed 200+ dollars down the drain. In the middle of transforming my VF-0D into battroid mode, and I had succeeded too with the exception of one thing, the left leg was to stiff to get it in a proper A stance, and then it pops off. Turns out I got a defective VF-0D from Ami Ami when that backorder came in since the right leg had a good ball joint for manuverability and the left leg did not, only half of a ball joint. I don't now how they (Arcadia) missed this, I cannot get back in. I also discovered that the legs joints can pull out to give them room to manuever in battroid mode, something not shown in the instructions, not that it mattered now. Now I afraid this is going to be the same with VF-0A Did anyone have this problem?

LOL Thanks for the advice, there are plenty of fabric stores here in Delaware maybe Bed Bath and Beyond might have it, I'll look for it.

Wait?!!! That's a 1/48 scale that must be huge? Do you still have a 1/48 scale VF-1 on hand? Thanks I'll let you know that I am mad at myself for not thinking of using my old college graduation gown in the first place. All those hours wasted creating a black background for my Valks, when I had the thing I needed as a makeshift background piece hanging in my closet for a very long time collecting dust.

Yeah, and they're not available on Ami Ami too. When you are on the Arcadia listing on HLJ, when you selected the discountinued item box for the Macross toys, they are not even listed. It is as if they were never sold on that site.

Had that problem with air intake stickers on many of 1/48's.

Well thanks for the compliments, and as for the suggestion of seeing it in other modes it will be done soon once I take the packs off and customize it from my TV 1A Cannon Fodder and place them on Kakizaki. You know I am thinking of putting the GBP pack on TV Hikaru 1S, I already did a Armored Strike with the DYRL Hikaru 1S. But for now here are some pics of my VF-0D, currently working on the Gerwalk pics so anyone with a flickr account look for them in the future will be posting soon.

Frak and I was thinking of cancelling my 0A once I got my hands on the 0D. Plus I only got my hands on two Arcadia stands they are not selling them anymore. Now I gatta have it so that means I got to box some things.

Thanks Spanner76 I always wondered what it be like like if they had the use of super packs from the beginning of their journey back to Earth just like in the movie.

Ever since I first opened up my 0D the landing gear bay door on one of the legs was completely loose, I mean it would not stay in so I applied a little clear tape to part that would not stay in place and put it back in and it held.the leg goint when the Gerwalk mode is applied is loose and swivels to much. have gotten to Battriod mode yet.

I got bored so I decided to finally take the super packs of my VF-1J Max, and instead of having them sit on the side with no space in my room to place them to collect dust, I put them on my TV Max 1A. That's all for now in the middle of editing my VF-0D pic, so far I got it into gerwalk mode, but this bird is a beast, I having trouble finding a place to put it.

Managed to get down to the post office today to get 0D well I let the unaltered photos shoe the proof, and for ones there is no lotion in the pics either.

My VF-0D Shin came in today, unfortunately for me I was out back washing my car as the idiot postal came by and left a note that I can pick it up at the post office on Monday. I knew that it would be delivered today as I was tracking it, but gets me is that I left a note on the front door telling him to bring it around back, which he didn't. That really pisses me off that people can't pay attention. Now I gotta wait till Monday to pick it up. BTW if you're wonding how I got my hands on o VF-0D it wasn't Ebay thay more expensive there, Ami Ami had it backordered along with the VF-19 Kai with sound booster, I ordered it on right away on Monday of this week, paid for it on Wensday after checking my e-mails, yeah I know I was surpised as well of how it became available that quick after two days placing an order. I ended up paying for that and for a locksmith to get me back in the house after locking myself out that day.

I got that one too, the last VF-1 Yamato made before they folded.

had no problem with mine Gamlin....Oh wait there is the fact it cannot stand right after transforming it to battroid mode keeps floopping down. They fixed the mess with the Max and Millia Saburo those portraits are nice great idea, if they decided to have another Macrossworld convention you can sell by them the box load.

When did they do that I have the ones that did not have them on, man I have been out of the loop.

It might work if he used the the levels mode in photoshop to make them darker, I do it on some of my photos that appeared too bright in some shots, cause of the flash being too close to the subject.

Agreed if only Yamato didn't over charge that baby since they wanted us to put it together.

Yeah I saw it, the rack extends down in between the missiles to connect just like they did with the regular missiles.

Nice display Saburo. Got some bad news for myself, my VF-1A Hikaru backpack broke cleanly off. I haven't transformed the thing in the two years I had it and the hinge connecting the backpack to the plane craked in the middle of trasforming it from fight to gerwalk. I was mad that I got a defective toy bere Yamato folded, no amoun of super glue was going to keep it together. Should have sold it since I wasn't able to get the super packs for him and Kakizaki. I think the rod was too big for it to be conneted to fighter and backpack, or the plastic peice connecting the pack to the fighter is not made of PVC.

Forgot to add these as I was posting my 19 pics. This one is another collaboration with Saburo, with his Q-rare and my Banpresto Klan Klang. I made two versions, one with out the helmet on and one with the helet on. And if anyone asks how I ripped the head and hair off to get the helment on, the answer is no, I photoshopped it on her head and erased the the hair around the helment. I first took several separte shot of the helmet to get the right angle and lighting, then erased the interior, and dragged it over her head. Possitioning and creatingthe visor effects were difficult enough, but here they are.
