  1. I had a problem with the seat being crooked and the right leg landing gear wheel wobbles causing the wheel to stick to the gear and collapse when I push it plus the the NP-AR-01 armor does not allow the gunpod to stay on in both fighter mode and battriod mode.
  2. I'm in the process of putting in payments to my Paypal account to get it I 'll let you know when I got it in the 1/48 gallery when I post pictures of both the Max and Millia together
  3. Wouldn't that be considered child abuse?
  4. This is going a short question. Eversince I got my VF-1J Super Max two weeks ago but in one week when I was taking pictures of both my 1/48 VF-1J Max and my VF-1S hikaru I noticed the seat in the Max was crooked slightly to it's left. I wonder how many VF-1J Max have this same Quality Control problem and how do I fix it?
  5. Nice custom, but shouldn't the TV style queadluun-rau have black hands I have seen it with black hands not white hands, that was only in DYRL.
  6. I got mine last week. Now I'm putting in payments in my paypal account to get the Millia next.
  7. Congrats on your first child Graham.
  8. UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE Anasazi37 you are the aquivalent of Michealangelo when it comes to toy customization good job. I mean Damn I wish I had the mad customization skills, plus the time and money to do it. All I got is some trimming skill when it comes to putting decals on my Hikaru 1S and Max 1J.
  9. So far we have had a review on the Yamato 1/48 VF-1A Hikaru the 1/48 VF-1S, the 1/48 VF-1A Low Vis. There even has been a review on the 1/60 VF-1J M&M Super Valkyries, and the 1/60 VF-1D . So how about a review on the 1/48 VF-1J Max and the upcoming VF-1J Millia. We must have a comment from the man who gave us all knowledge about the popular 1/48 scale Valkyries that we've all shelled out our hard earned money for. Iknow Graham must be a busy guy but I would like to know what he thinks of the VF-1J Max, considering how amazing detailed it is that I waited months to get my hands on it and i was worth the wait even I'm tempted to write a review on it. But then again I am not as talented in my writing skills as Graham is, So how about that review Graham.
  10. Okay Updated fro last time I posted on how many yamatos are now. Valkyries from DYRL: 1. 1/48 VF-1A Hikaru=1 2. 1/48 VF-1S Focker=1 3. 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru=1 4. 1/48 Super Strike Fast pack parts=3 Valkyries from Series 1. VF-1J Super Max=1 2. VF-1J Super Millia Coming soon Which brings me up a total of (minus Millia) 7 Yamatos that I own.
  11. His number is 202 in the series eventhough it dosen't show but on every model company that produced the VF-1J Max had the number 202. As for putting the name Prometheus on the tail fin knock yourself out because I did on my VF-1J Max YEAH BABY I GOT MYSELF ONE TOO!!!! Millia's next and for the record her number is 303.
  12. With all the the custom jobs you guys have done on the 1/48 VF-1, I was wandering what brand of paint and what color to use on my Hikaru VF-1A and VF-1S note for example the black paint on the leg peg on my VF-1A is wearing away and the eye peice has tiny scratch on it and the red and black on the leg fin in the 1S was scratched off my fault because was busy watching T.V. while applying the stickers. I got Testors paints from preivous models I built in the past but I don't know how it would affect my two 1/48's. all I need is some painting tips from the pro's on what brand of paint to buy and the specific type of red and black amd possibly paint sealants to use. I would be appreciative for the information Arigato
  13. Agreed
  14. I second that. A girl I WAS dating scoffed at my yammies. At the next date at her house, she shows my her Display Case of Little Mermaid Crap. Stautes, Commerative Plates and Cels all from disney I hear that, My sister got on my case about me buying my first two 1/48 Yammies practically accused me of closing closing my investment account at primerica just to buy them which was not true, since I closed the account in October 02' just to get money for food that was important and got the Yammies in 03' . But any way she tell's me I should prioitize my money for somethings important than toys and trivial and trite crap, but she buys a Playstation 2 which cost more the Yamato 1/48 VF-1 and she has never played a video game since 1986 and tells me I can't play any games on it. Well you know what I was thinking when I found out (She is a Hypocrite) so I went on playing it when ever she is not around and I still get my Valkyries. So the lesson is don't listen to hypcrites.
  15. I am a Macross toy collector, simply because of the love for it. I open up all my Yamato/Bandai toys to at least touch and play with them for a while. Though it's not possible that all my toys get equal amount of time and attention, it's not possible, too many Macross toys already. Not to mention that I also buy 2 of the same types of certain valkyries, for example, 2x 1/60 Elintseeker, 2x 1/60 Strike VF-1S, 4x 1/48 FAST packs (actually wanted 6 sets), wanted to get another 1/48 Super VF-1J gift set but my wallet's running dry and I need money to eat. I have seen toy collectors buying toys (Yamato, Macross Vintage, or some other Transformer vintage toys) and they insist on the toy box being wrapped up nicely, not opened. They pay a bomb for it and keep it in mint condition. Sad to say, these are not real toy collectors. They are just keeping their toys so that they can sell them off at a better price to make profits. I will not sell any of my Macross toys because I enjoy them. So, in a nutshell, open up your Macross toys and enjoy them!! That's what they're for. My guess is to your intentions of not selling them, is to have them be buried with you when you die. Heh heh!
  16. Oh yeah, he is most definately drunk. or else Max would have kicked his butt:lol:
  17. Don't let it bother you buffalobob77, people in general who believe we are wasting our time and hardearned money are BAKA (Japanese term for stupid or idiot) Sooner or later you end up over someones else's home and see they got a teddybear collection or a porcillian doll collection, and wonder to yourself what kind of hypocrisy these people are living in and that the have no right to critique your collection.
  18. The circle bar vernier on the arm of my VF-1S Hikaru is sticking out making it almost impossible to close the arms in fighter mode, I'm in the process in sanding the backend down so it can be flush in the arm. Plus the rubber sockets in the leg air intake joint are so tight that they are bleeding out through the plastic pieces keeping them in place. So far I used the super armor from my VF-1A Hikaru and placed the on the the Hikaru 1S to see if the arms fell down like they did on my Focker 1S and they didn't. There is still a proble with the canopy, and a newly discovered problem in Gerwalk mode is the I can't pose it the way I can because the arm joint blocks the legs from going back. This is cause by the plastic pieces in the hip/leg joints are not firmly placed into the legs cause them to be too tight during transformations. any suggestion on how to deal with it. And one more thing I don't know about any one else's VF-1S Hikaru but mine seemed to have missed the QC Inspection as two of the backpack thruster were not painted silver like the middle one was.
  19. Charlies Valkyries!!!
  20. That looks like that last scene of Hikaru's Battroid in the opening theme of the Macross TV Series. Cool!!
  21. Dude Thats looks nice. I just got my VF-1S Hikaru on Thursday (thankyou paypal) I will have the armor once I put more money into my paypal account.

Coming soon VF-1? Coming soon 1/48 Super Armor set = 2 with a third coming for VF-1S Hikaru
