Awesome Tomcat Spanner, you captured the awesomeness of my favorite fighter. Nice job. Question though, when you do get second pilot figure, does the canopy come up? -

If you are referring to Bandai Entertainment fugettaboutit I thought they would try bringing Frontier over, but that didn't happen and they are no longer in business in North America- 2715 replies

This is nice, but has anyone noticed that the legs are a combination of the TV Series and DYRL? -

Got my VF-0A two weeks ago haven't had the chance to do any editing on the first set of pictures after spending hours decaling the bird up, and watching Macross Zero to make sure I got some of the extra markings on it that did not show on the marking instructions. by the next week after wrapping up the photo shoot, I had to go to Pittsburgh to help my sick mother (sorry MacrossJunkie would have looked you up if it wasn't an emergency). Once I got back It only took me awhile to get myself together to start the editing so here are the fighter pics. -
Looks like I am no longer the only guy who take pictures of his Valk with a Vaseline bottle nearby.

Yeah I figured, hey blue colored fighter pilots have to stick together and have some respect right. -
Wow Chaotic you beat me on posting a fix for this issue, but you know I never had a issue with the peg breaking off on my 0D leg, I guess it was I used a small flathead screwdriver on each side to wiggle it apart, but if you're saying they glued the two halves together this time. I have to be mindful of that. Hey wait there were no pegs on the rear of the thigh armor? howcome I had trouble with getting the one off my 0D, I only got the front opened.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet on the 0A, but the paint on the marker lights of the vertical stabilizers can rub onto each other when folding and unfolding. I found this feature on the 0A to be a canudrum, considering this is my first official 0A since I never got on board with Yamato's version, after hearing about those exploding joint nightmares. It's just the way it takes to fold them is taxing considering I don't want to stress the plastic joints to the fin and backpack. How does arcadia expect it to work like that?

Arcadia 1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-0D for 2015
VF-18S Hornet replied to Dark_Ghost's topic in Toys
HA, so I was right about there being pegs in the back of the thigh armor sorry you had to break them, in my opinon the pegs should have been short and rounded just to align it with the other, not long and tight to connect, just so you can easily remove them for minor repairs. Nice custom on the Max GBP Sh9000, judging from the number of post you made so far, you're a newbie welcome. -

Okay smart aleck, you do realize I have a job that requires me to work 12 hours a day and on some of those shifts I don't get a break, so you will forgive me for being too tired to get on the computer and upload. Have to do it on my days off. And you know after unboxing this one I once again forgot to scan the sticker sheet, once I applied them. -

noticed the crack in of you pictures, was it some manufacturing defect of a clumsy employee at Bandai dropped when he was putting in the tray. Well anyway my 0A has arrived today can't wait to open it up, but what I seeming from the VF-0d and A thread is that people is haveing the same problem with the A's half ball socket comming off like it did with the 0D. I hope I get lucky with this one, if not this time I'll take picture of the disassembly. -

Hi sorry it took me long to respond getting home from my job, and I never seem to have any time to mysyelf after a 40 minute commute from Philly I will have some detailed instructions worked up soon using word and upload them, sadly I didn't take picture during the dismantling, just after but to answer your question on how I seperated the leg from the intake joint. I simply used small screwdrivers both a flathead and a philliphead. There is a tab covering the screw in the thigh of the toy, just remove the tab and start unscrewing, the same with the uncovered screw in the intake. As for the prying I used the small flathead in between the outer armor and the inner parts of the uppler and lower joints to open up the front just wide enough to get the intake joint out; however, this seems to only work for the front seam of the leg which works fine cause the pin that is in the intake connects to the lower thigh for the gerwalk to work must also be removed. The only reason I say this works is to not place to much stress on the pegs to are tightly secured in the rear of the outer leg armor. Despite all the wiggling and prying the rear would not give more thant he front didI think they glued it during assembly, happy Labor Day -

Well I just paid for my VF-0A Shin, it's going to sit in my private warehouse till next payday and I'll pay for shipping on Thursday so that it will arrive on Monday, hope I have better luck with this one, and speaking of luck I got my hands on some gorilla glue. It says that it can adhere plastic to metal haven't tried it yet been busy with other things but hopefully Monday will be they day I get started, on those repairs on my 0D he;s getting tired of lying on his back. MJ saw your pics on Flickr, I love them especially that faceoff between the Arcadia YF-19 and the Bandai VF-19A Advance.
