Amazing, I see you took the roll bar idea for the legs from the Yamato 1/48 Valkyrie, show us some transformation pics. Had to laugh when I saw that name on the gun pod.

I probably will buy it for three reasons: 1. I'd be interested to see how they handled it transfer-wise (I love Animeigo dearly, but they've got a ghosting problem on a lot of their discs) 2. I do like the cool info booklets that were on the Mospeada/Southern Cross discs. 3. From all I've heard, ADV's discs seem to be more robust (i.e. none of the cracking issues) than Animeigo's. I'd probably keep the Animeigo set as the "good china," for lack of a better term, and watch the ADV set more frequently. The dub idea sounds interesting (although bloody unlikely if HG has anything to say about it, given their past stands on dubbing the three shows). But let me say this...I will pull out my trusty 2x4 of learnin' © ® (p) if they let Tony Oliver or Reba West anywhere near the studio. Hopefully, they might be able to (as someone on ANN had suggested) coax Mari Ijima back into the studio to be the dub voice for Lynn Minmay. 310082[/snapback] Well she is living here in the States I think she is perfect for the job of a english dub version and in case they couldn't another Voice actress other than Reba West who can sing the orginal Minmay songs in english. And now that ADV has the license to distribute Macross how about releasing the movie version on DVD.

I just preordered a VF-1A Cannon Fodder in which will be my sixth Valkyrie in my collection, it would have be my seventh if I had gotten the VF-1A Max, or two of them one of which I would have turned into a Kakizaki custom at least an attempt. I guess that would have been eight if I had done that.

You know what the GBP-1 needs a large assualt gun pod like the one used in the DYRL game or so what it sounds and appears to look like. Anyway what I am trying to get at is that if they are going to make the shoulders big so that the shoulder armor dosen't look akward on the already skinny shoulders on the 1/48 Valkyrie then they should increase the scale of the gunpod to match. Try imagining the existing gunpod with GBP-1 forearm armor constantly getting in the way of each other. (oh and Prometheum 5 sorry about the gay crack I was just joking, but I see you got a laugh about it more than I did. )
