The Blazer Valkyrie is a cheap clone of the Fire Valkyrie. This clearly shows Bandai's lack of interest in the Macross Series let alone Macross 7 they just got lazy and used the same mold of the Fire Valkyrie to create the Blakzer Valkyrie with the exception of the head. I say let Yamato try it and see what kind VF-19 Valks they come up with. I'm still waiting for the 1/48 VF-19S.

Well I appreciate the 1/48 scale Valkyrie because of the excellence in detail thay put into creating it, one thing though is that I don't appreciate is the huge pricetag.

OMG he DID use a marker or a Sharpee on that clone of the Fire Valkyrie with an S type head on it. It's downright awful, who in the right mind would buy that from him. Here is a tip for that guy USE SOME REAL PAINT FOOL

From what I remember of that scene (cuz I was thinking of making a 1/60 version of it a while ago), its basically a CF, but the leg fins are Kakizaki's green black, and the armor is done with his green skull. I was even planning on adding the black stripe on the arms as well. So have at it! Its not much of a custom, and its deffinately not hard to do. Well thats why the black stripe offsets the green from the light brown take a look at the pictures above but I'm open to other color suggestions.

With the 1/48 VF-1A Production color Valkyrie (Cannon Fodder) and the reissue of the fastpacks I was considering in trying my hand at customizing this Valkyrie into a Skull Squadron CF like the one shown on DYRL using the Kakizaki color sceme it took me a while to find theses pics for reference but I like to know what you think and I also need some advice on which paints and finishes I should use to make this custom DYRL Skull Squadron CF.

I haven't seen the movie so I can't judge it on how bad it is, or compare it to Macross Plus which would be a BIG MISTAKE. I still have yet to see F4 Movie. SO DON'T ANYONE SPOIL IT FOR ME

Wow I remember watching that show back in the mid eighties on PBS and again in 1999 to 2000 when I was living in Pittsburgh. But lost track of watching it when I moved to Claymont Delaware. I didn't have cable in my old home in Pittsburgh so it was my only source of late night entertainment (pre-Adultswim anime days)
