Yeah me too. Ever since I first saw the model kit back in 97 back in Pittsburgh at my old comic book shop the Phantom of the Attic. I instantly recognized it as some dirivative of the YF-19 from Macross Plus. I puchased it and some month later purchased the Fire Valkyrie. However, the wings on the S gotten loose so I applied some paint to keep it from slipping down in battroid mode, and made the mistake of placing it under my desk lamp. Unbeknownst to me as I watched TV the lamp fell on the wing and warped it to the point I cannot put it back together so i was stuck with a one winged 1/100 VF-19S with optional F head and Fire Valkyrie. The one thing that was always bugged me about that model kit was that I had to take it apart every time to transform it and leave some of the fighter parts in my art tray on my desk.

Strike A Pose! V.4 - The Macross Mech Pose Thread

Should have went with that guy if he had it listed earlier. I paid for a preorder back in May which was more than what your guy listed, that took five to six weeks to arrive at my home cause he shipped it by registered mail. That's S.A.L (slow assed and lost) Sorry I couldn't come up with a proper meaning for the "L" -
How many times do you actually transform your toys?
VF-18S Hornet replied to ErikElvis's topic in Toys
I used to keep them transformed from one mode to the next in about a week. But lately I have been letting them stay in one mode for months and them decide to transform them. My two unboxed 1/48 Max and Kakizaki 1A's have been in battriod mode for over a year, as well as my VF-22S Gamlin. So much 1/60's and so little space. I'd gone and went a little crazy. -
When are the pre-orders up so I can start saving?

Yamato 1/60 VF-19 Fire Valkyrie (v2.0)
VF-18S Hornet replied to UN Spacy's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Unfortunately there is no way to do it. I tried with mine and it flopped down, and I had the screw in tight when I last adjusted it for the Fire Valkyrie. It's just that the boosters adds more weight to an already heavy toy, and they are as light as a feather. At least when you pick it up. -

Why thank you, you are the first to respond. And no that's not sarchasim there, that's just me being surprised. I was beginning to think I need to find a new way to take pictures of my collection, maybe out of my room once in a while. with the sudden lack of response in this thread, and the sounds of crickets. -
I got a crack in the hip airintake joint. It's practically visible after applying painters tape to the joint to prevent the leg from falling off. but now I know why it's falling off.

I had to hold this up for this shot because the added weight of the sound booster made it impossible for the mighty block stand to keep the VF-19 up. -

It has been awile since I have posted anything since getting the Sound Booster. Got two new figures in last week and today. Though Rapier came in several weeks late cause the guy in Japan sent it by registered mail instead of EMS Like the other guy in Japan did. Of course I got them through Ebay of course. After finishing up on taking photos of the first figurine I finally decided to transform my Fire Valk back to Fighter Mode to place the sound booster on it in Figher Mode, after spending several weeks on it in Battriod Mode. And of course I forgotten on how to transform it back, see what happens when you get busy with your life and work. And so here are the results, and yes I am going blow up my own thread with the shots, cause I when overboard and took thwenty plus photos for this. -
Yamato 1/60 VF-19 Fire Valkyrie (v2.0)

I photos set on my thread but since you asked here are more. -
Oh great money wasted on a toy that can never stay up when the armor is on. Money wasted on a toy in which the legs does not bend forward to keep it balanced in Gerwalk mode.

Here it is my Sound Booster. I must say it is awsome, I did not go to be till around 12:45 AM cause Leno was on, as I was trying to figure out on how to transform and attach to my Fire Valkyrie. First I tried to follow the directions, eveen though they are in Japanese, I tried using the pictures. The first part was getting the hooks out to attack to the Battroid, which kept getting placed back into their sockets no matter how hard I tried to to keep them out. The center hook was the hardest to get out, but rotating the large speaker pods to right position was difficult, as the joint is rather stiff and hard to manuver inti position. I think I spent twenty minutes trying to get that thing in the position I wanted, I kept thinking I had it backwards, which did in the end. The toughest part of the Sound Booster was the shoulder hooks that are located above the blue cover under the pod which requires a tool to get them out though, I don't understand the need for it, since no one mentioned them. So far into half an hour into midnight I was finaly able to get it; however, getting it attached to the battroid was hard as the hooks kept falling into the frame, and resulted in me almost dropping my Fire Valkyrie but dropping the Sound Booster.I mus say it is sturdy as it fell against my bookshelf and didn't break, so I'll give them some props for making a sturdy accessory. So far it comes with two attachments, one for posing the Booster on a stand and one for the Fighter mode of the Valkyrie. Though I'd becarefull when attaching the flight stand attachment it is a doozy getting it off. -

Finall got my booster in as predicted because of the holiday, but get this Customs in New York had it since Saturday and did no send info on it being state side until Monday of this week. So after work I went to the Post Office to pick it up, and and went home, and since I only had fifteen minutes to change. I only had time to take it out of the box and take a few shots of it before heading back out. The rest will be on my thread. -
Ooooh, you are so wrong Graham teasing us like that.

After seeing that on his Flikr page I never realized that was above his bed, and yes I would have to be careful on yawing I tended to bang my hand against my bookshelf. I think at one time at three years ago my Tomahwk mysteryously fell off the top shelf during my sleep, somehow I heard it and picked it up amazed it didn't break, not even the antenne.
