  1. It comes with some extra peices to display them if your using the Yamato Mighty Block display stand or the luanch arm display stand those peices will fit both. The first peice is a long display piece that is placed under the fighter between the legs just follow the directions in the manual easy to see. The second piece is used for the battroid mode; however, I recomend using the launch Arm display stand for this, as the Battroid mode is too tall as the Mighty block stand won't support it.
  2. Unfortunately yes it's the only way to get the nose section that the cockpit separated from, to lock in where the bar was. And I recomend caution when doing this as the legs and the ball joint are so tight when trying to pull them down without rotating the legs down you will end up doing what I did. Just look at the closeup photo I just posted on my thread and you will see why.
  3. Here are more shots of My 17S that I did not post ithe 17S thread.
  4. Whoa, that must have totaly sucked. I had trouble trying to figure out how to pull the bar down after finally getting the chest piece to move up. and in the process in getting that bar to move down, I accidently bent the sharp end of the part the connect to the shoulder because the legs being stiff would not rotate downward. managed to straighten it out but now I got a white stress mark on it. Yamato should have made it a little less tight there, but as I am now seeing skull_leader001 pic as it just popped in while I am typing this, maybe I should have tried some lubricant too. I wonder clippper lubricant might work? Anyway here are the transfomation shots I promised. It took all night to 1:30 am to get this done, because I had a hard time with it, and almost gave up. Next batch Complete
  5. Thanks Black Valkyrie. When I woke up on that Saturday morning and saw the morning light behind my SDF-1, it was a perfect shot and I had to take it.
  6. Well I tried my best to, but I made some mistakes whem applying them that I had to peel them off. It would help if they had added a sticker placement page in their manual like they did in the past, but I guess that cost money to do that and would most likely add up the cost of the17. And I agree with you 100% that they sould have tampo printed the decals on saving us the trouble of haveing to do it ourselves. But thanks for the complements everyone I am currently working on the transformation from Gerwalk to battroid pics I will have them posted soon.
  7. What scale is your Optimus (Convoy) Prime?
  8. And here is my transformation seqence from Fighter to Gerwalk
  9. Opening the canopy, and trying to pull the feet out and those wings the front landing gear doors, extremely sharp, ouch!!! Why did they have to make it like I was holding a plastic kunai. I can imaing if someone was trying to kill me I'd throw the thing at them. Newsflash on NBC 10 intruder dies by Valkyrie, news at eleven. Any way got to trim the kite logos and add some decals to the Nightmare. I Even manage to transform it to Gerwalk mode with out any problems, There some things I ould like to point out with, nothing major. It's when I opend the rear landing gear bay there was this tab, when I pulled on it with the help of some tweezers, a slot on the leg opened up. what is that for? This ones for you Golden Arms
  10. Okay, now that I know thanks.
  11. Okay!!!?? What is that supposed to mean, since I don't understand Japanese?
  12. Wow thanks Graham I thak that under advisment, still fooling around on the web uplading more pics ont my Photobucket account. Golden Arms you crack me up. Here are some babes in the background of my 17 Yoko not the only sporting some big guns.
  13. The Macross with the morning light behind it
  14. Got my VF-17S today and it looks great haven't transformed it yet I have yet to decal it yet as I am attempting to replace the faucet in the bathroom after that I am going to my special trimming of the kite logos. But since Yamato did it again by not putting in a decal placing page in the manual I'm hoping that someone might have one for the VF-17 like they did for the 19, hint, hint. This slot here is most likely where the fastpacks are going
  15. Oh that. Give me a break just came back home from a five hour trip from Pittsburgh.
  16. Geez had to make my way down to the reply menu, just to say I got great news. Fed Ex is going to deliver my VF-17S tomorrow cause it has just arrived in the Newark, NJ sort facillity and not Memphis Like my 19 did. So it's going to arrive on time. HUH???? Come again, Speaker pod Gamma?
  17. Holy cow it's bigger than the VF-19 in battriod mode, was there some scaleing issue? I thought that 17 was a tad smaller than the VF-19. Anyway as predicted HLJ finally got around to shipping my package off Today, it says it will be in by the estimated date Jan 12 next week, which is a Thursday. And it's the day I have to go my second job
  18. When I like to join, but if we go near a black hole I'm taking the next fold capable ship to where Eden is. :D I thought he died in a motorcycle accident.
  19. May have been hard for you, but I managed to pull it off by tightening the screw in the pivot joint
  20. Still waiting for HLJ to finish processing mine to ship, but it's beacause of the New Year happening, it will most likely be ready to ship by Thursday. Which means it will most likely arrive at my job on the day I have to go to my second job afterwards, not giving me enough time to enjoy it.
  21. I moved that out of my shot, after someone mentioned it. :D
  22. You are worng about that sir... Star Trek comes to mind with the hand held communicator. "Beam me up Scotty"
  23. My 17 is still being processed to ship so here are more pics of my 19 and some with Sheryl, until it shows up which is most likely going to be Monday of next week. .
