  1. Frack me and that's just the 'small one' Beautifull work.....now I'll start on my room to make place for the 1/72 Monster
  2. Maybe Mike saves up for Easter so he can play the Easter Bunny and give us the first batch This must be the most anticipated kit I guess
  3. I'm up for it : 1/ Yes 2/ say 3 months at least 3/ I like the idea of Berttt but maybe give a choice between 2 or 3 models 4/ make it anonymous 5/ nah, just the bragging rights will do for me 6/ I have no idea what your talking about but I know that a Humming bird can hover Greets
  4. @ grayson, you can try to soak them in acid first (I use vinaigre) or some even use sanding paper to get a roughness so CA glue will adhere better. Works for me very time @ HWRII yup, Dragon is really targeting Tamiya with there kits. Mighty good job at it to I must ad. I'm finishing on the Battlepod and the figures for my dio and awaiting the release of the Monster
  5. I say Brussels, it's the capitol of the European Community right ? And we have the NATO HQ over there
  6. Also take into account that during the opening night of Desert Storm Ah64 Apachers carved a path into Iraq to further assure the 'stealth' capacities of the F-117. The B-2 is a beautifull plane I think, but it still is a bomber that is no match to any decent fighter. As pointed out they are supposed to not be found
  7. Or you can go with Panzer Grey and a wash with thinned Lamp Black oil paint witch works perfectly for me....in 1/48th alternatively you can also paint them panzer grey and overspray with thinned smoke from Tamiya.
  8. There's a manual somewhere around these boards about recasting. I have no expercience what so ever in recasting anything but if you're up to it .... LMK I would love to get my hands on a Hellbringer Falcon style ofcourse
  9. Thanks for the feedback. Small update. I'm sidetracked with a Zentradi battlepod I got off Evil Bay. But on topic of the VF1 dio I finally sat down and started working on Marian Dagmar. To give you allready a small run down, Marian is 28years old, had a human father and a zentradi mother. Being a child of the first generation she first handed saw the effects of being a "mixed child"..... Ofcourse I don't need to mention she is drop dead beautifull Anyway I cut off the feet part of the VF1 pilot, chopped of the legs of a pilot figure I had in my spare box and used the head of a female figure in the sparebox Watch it kiddo's this is pure horror Anyway here are the before and after Before : and After : Normally I'll be adding more details tomorrow but it's the kick off of 'lost' with a special so that could be a problem Edit : don't mind the face yet....still need to give a base coat for the flesh tones
  10. In between figures for the VF-1 dio a little sidestep : Zentradi battlepod :
  11. Second that question. Where on earth did you get the Kit Fox and Hellbringer...are those the same scale as the Armorcast Battlemechs ? @ HWR, nice 'little tank you've got there Gruber' . Is that also a RC one ?
  12. Vactutorial This might help.
  13. I'm completely baffled That's amazing and I missed it Okay, my 50 bucks are a waist of money Any chance this will ever be done again ?
  14. Hi guys, thanks for the feedback. The kit itself is a very basic recast. If I remember correctly it's the Imai kit that has it subassemblies recasted. I'm afraid I don't know the kit from Captain America but it sounds very nice. The kit comes from LokHobby in Hong Kong and it's nicely casted. Costed me $58. It was the only kit I found so I bought it. I'll try to make some templates and spray paint them on
  15. Hi guys, I just received a recast of a 1/72nd Zentradi Battlepod from a shop in Hong Kong. The quality of the recast is very good with only minor flash and almost no marks from the mold. I always liked this basic canon fodder zentradi mecha as it was my first mecha I ever build as a kid and it stuck with me, even after 33 years Anyway, I'm looking for decals the complete the kit in later stage....Does someone know where to find these ? I looked on HLJ, Twin Moons, Starship modeller even tried google but alas no such luck. Does some one have an idea ?
  16. OH MY GOD................................. this is huge I say, HUGE......Okay when do you ship out ? Awesome work
  17. *thump* *faints* Mike this is awesome, I'm touched, deeply touched that you make the world a better place for us Macrossfans Can't wait to get my hands on this puppy
  18. 1/32nd scale I guess. Now be carefull I've ended up with the Trumpeter A10 with three updatesets; a 1/35th scale Blackhawk from MRC and the Trumpeter 1/35th Hind and still no time to build The boxes just get bigger
  19. Yes, I don't believe it...it's finally time
  20. This one is going slow......real slow. But here are some progress pics after the complete dio got a wash and drybrush. All equipment got preshaded, painted with yellow, got a dirty wash after decalling. I prob. gonna drybrush them with darkgrey and silver to get a worn look. All figures got there basecoat and final coat. After this they'll receive detailpainting; styencils and wash. After that oil paints for the flesh tones. So what do YOU think ?
  21. Even more Magic.... if you take the Hase battroid and compare it to the Hase Fighter the latter is smaller
  22. Oh boy, I'm out of the picture for a few weeks and the Monster is nearly done Way to go Mike. If you'd be able to get in production by the end of March it would be fantastic...it's my birthday then and the wife needs a present BTW HWR, I'm letting you get the head start on the build thread...I'll catch up later
  23. hfdjfhkq DUUH even less then predicted. Dang this is awesome.
  24. HWR Welcome back, how was the beach..... Anyway have a lot more work done....my PC crashed last weekend so I had plenty of time to work on the dio (main board fried ). I'll hope to update next week. Detailpainted and decalled the dio Painted and weathered the support equipment started on the figs themselves anyway, great to see you back. CU
  25. this is amazing....it's just keeps getting better everytime I take a look This will make a perfect birthday present for myself Awesome work Mike. I hope I'll do the model justice by building it
