Just finished painting the Tomahawk. I used a dark wash before I spraypainted the T-hawk to be sure to keep the details intact. It went quit well. Next up is decalling and washing. [attachmentid=40805] [attachmentid=40804] -

@Prometheum : childhood memories.....although mine are clouded with Revell Robetech Defender kits I'm waiting for the Figthing Piranha's BT decals to give it the final wash and drybrush run....meanwhile I can work on the Diorama ....then the big chunk on its leg will make sense. -

On my workbench right now two mecha's at once. The awesome kit from John (ready to paint) and a very old TALOS kit from Revell, heavily damaged in the decal phase. [attachmentid=40583] [attachmentid=40584] [attachmentid=40585] -
I received mine already and must say IT'S A JUWEL Crisp details, amazingly beautifull cockpit, high quality resin and almost no cleaning up to do on the casts except the tree stump Truly a labour of love

You can fnd some of the issues with the G-Systems in the links down in my sig. I would go for the original Club M kit if you can find it and have the money.
-
I actually made this kit from G-System which is a Club M recast. G-Systems calls it a VF1J 'cause you have the choice of a VF1S or a VF1J Version. All in all it's a nice kit with a lot of superdetail potential. Alas for the misallignement between the nose area and the body area its a pretty straightforward kit. G.

Whatever you build I'll prob. take one, but I tend to be in favor of the YF 19 -
Just got mine this morning.....it is a piece of art, crisp detail, no airbubbles simply amazing. Congrats Mike

Darn HWR you're into BIG projects I believe. Nice kit . On a quick note the dio for the VF1 is finished. Didn't want to start another thread so check out the details on the link in my sig. CU -
Finally got down and took some pics of the finished dio. I can't beliefe it took me nearly 1.5 years to completely finish this Anyway. I made a simple construction out of plexiglass and wood to get the dio boxed in. This way It's dustfree and safe for children (to an extend that is). Anyway here are some finsihed pics hope you enjoy them. thanks for the suggestions, feedback and tips General lay out : Nose detail with tie down chains (the plexiglass reflects a bit) : Semi top view of the VF 1 : Som filler for the back : And ofcourse : lynn couldn't escape : Hope you all enjoy it and thanks for the patience

Yup, it's hardly anything like the original valk...but that was the intent. The 3rd edition boxart of the boardgame had a magnificent Warhammer stepping into the dessert.....complete with the Macross Kite
-
@DG, with the risk of being completely burnend on these forums for saying this, but Battletech took the main destroids and used them in there game. There is a lot you can see/find on the internet. Officers Battlepod = Battletech Marauder Tomahawk = Battletech Warhammer Phalanx = battletech .... Defender = battletech rifleman Also the battroid version of the valk was used as mech..... If you want mech action there you'll find it with the Macross destroids. G

I'm thinking about having the Monster backed up in a tree line with camo netting spread over it and some support vehicles around. I've read somewhere that the Monster is capacble of firing the RMS1 so I was thinking of scratchbuilding some "angels" and depicting a Montser that's being loaded Not sure if it's feasable, canon but hey....it's on route so I have some time

Nice build up. Looks again beautifull HWR.... *taps foot before door.....watching for the postman......*

I was thinking about doïng the same thing. But the size is completely off. Actually the same problem with the Talos/Wolverine it's to big compared to the Zoltek/Shadowhawk and it towers over my 1/60th Mad Dog -
