Depending on the price I would be interested in one

Quit easy....just take a fine pointed brush and use some german grey and make little 'ticks' where the paint 's worn off. Use the same german grey to drybrush some worn area's and give the thing a wash...result is an abused THawk @ Cool8or : I only missed the Phalanx from John and also have the Destroid Monster from Mike (completely ready for painting but I await the new room in my house to finish it..it's a bit to big ) Now to get me some Valks from Hase

Here are the two other Destriods I've got from John. Alas I was to laat for the first kit Anyhow, here is the Defender : and the Tomahawk : I need to make some new pictures from the THawk as these are over exposed by the sun. Regards, Geert

Just make sure if you go after Mike's monster you havez enough room. I'm waiting for mine to finisch as soon as I have my own space in the house. It really is huge and impressive up close and personal.

-
as my Monster is nearing completion in the next year or so I'll need a hangar to put it in, so yes, count me down for one
-
I'm in at least in for one, possible two ... Does this also hint at a Glaug in the working

@ Captain : Sorry Captain, no offence intended... @ HWR : sigh...I know just so much possibilities and so little time EDIT : youre remark kind of stuck with me. Rereading my question I think it was misunderstood . The question was if there would ever be a second run of this kit...apparantly not Hence the 'recast'. Sorry for the mix up I think faster then I can type so sometimes I forget part of a sentence...

Captain, any chance the 1/48 VF1 will ever be recasted ?

Thanks for the compliments guys...I just followed HWR en Promethum in chipping up. I always wanted to achieve that but never quit got, until Sean showed it . The bar is high for the Defender -

It was a little experiment, instead of spraypainting the preshading I washed with dark grey paint to bring out all the details. After that I used thinned yellow (ratio of 1 part paint to 4 parts thinner) and layed on layer after layer. Then I used the trick that HWR spearheaded with dark grey chipping (credits to Sean for that one ). Then I added some flesh colored streaks and thouch ups and gave it a wash... Time consuming, but worth the effort -

Just received a new kit in the mail on friday : a recast of the Winterfest 1/72 Glaug. Crisp detail, nice panel lines and a big piece of chunk. Although not really correct in scale according to John (which I believe ). But it's a nice kit to build a Marauder all pieces : [attachmentid=41461] In regard to the T-Hawk : [attachmentid=41462] Cockpit :[attachmentid=41463] [attachmentid=41464]
