    ^exactly while it is expensive, what I am seeing here at Arcadia for 34800 yen is more or less close to what they can deliver, on the other hand, the old model kit of Bandai probably looks better that VF-2SS toy at 25000 yen.

    Most of the people that are replying are REALLY INTERESTED in macross 2. they love it, what they hate is on how the initial prototype looks like and on how it scale on the asking price of 25,000 yen. Some people felt that they are forced to buy an overpriced product because the subject matter (macross 2) is a very niche product that maybe yamato and arcardia will never touch.

    if you want to remove all the rainbow effect, just clean the underside of the canopy with cloth damped with alcohol.

    I was about to share a new update until I realize, I am missing/cant find the small thrusters of the Supers. I will do an unscheduled overall clean up of my room once I got back from office

    Newer HGUC kit are actually nice but from time to time, Bandai engineering is weird so your best bet is to always look for, at least, a picture review The size of 1/144 MS is actually satisfying, specially if you plan to collect more. RG's detail is actually better and everything can be done out of the box without painting since every part is molded in the correct color. Of course, minimal painting is still suggested since some frame parts, per line art, needs to be metallic in color like silver or gold, the problem here is that the sticker for those application is ugly and questionable. HGUC is a bit different, most of them requires stickers to get the color application while simpler MS in terms of color might only require the metallic sticker for the sensors

    at 25,000 yen it should be a completed toy. it looks less exciting when compared to other toy in prototype stage, hopefully the painted/completed will look better. is the vf-2 landing gear really look that bad?

    other than the wakizashi, I dont like the new burning gundam the Lightning Zeta is like a Zeta with Resin conversion kit (which I really really like)

    I would like to see a CF VF-30. it has to be a bit different though and should have at least allowance for fast packs, but checking the timeline of Delta, it is set around 7 to 8 years after Frontier, there is a high chance that the CF would belong to the 25series.
