    It varies per person and the best person to decide if it is worth going the Painting Route is yourself. I really like Gunpla since the modern one (especially RG) are already good out of the box unlike other kits which really requires modelling effort (planning, planning, glue, Planning, painting)

    All I can do is watch this videos. I made a Pre-order in YAJ via fromjapan and it seems that the yahoo seller has not yet contacted them. While the thought if they can get the money back is another issue, my other issue is the price of this toy has already increased a lot.

    I can guess but maybe Bandai allocate stocks per Market and it is just that the demand in Japan is really high (hey it is Seed) that the allocated stocks in Japan has been easily scalped. The same trend also applies to different high end toy except Macross, Bandai do really well in supplying stocks to different regions. For example here in PH, the price is more or less the SRP + Shipping cost unlike with Japan market that already bloated to as much as 50% more.

    more game pre-pre-order. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mightyno9/red-ash-the-indelible-legend playing the first megaman legends, I would say, imo,not prioritizing PS4 or X1 as the platform of choice is a bad decision.

    crappy random pic of my WIP. It has been more than a year since I last touch anything gunpla related and I actually forgot how small the parts is. Watching Gundam 00, I felt 00 raiser is one of the coolest gundam out there but after building the MG version, I end up realizing how impractical and badly designed this is. Opinion is changed again after building the RG. Took me 7 to 9hrs to snap build, this will be a quick build so only very bad and visible nub will be removed, next step is minor detailing and panel line.

    Although I already Pre-ordered RG Astray, I am still waiting on what P-bandai release they do to this. Hopefully, it wont be a match up of HG parts.

    They could do that or did what Yamato did for their VF-19, add another shield. If only the Fast pack for the VF-19 Advance also offers an upgrade to the original shield that can make it wider

    I was able to get a PO from one of the local sellers. Big difference between Gundam and Macross toy. For Gundam, I have lots of supplier to choose from and can easily wait and choose the cheapest wherein the average price is almost the same if I ordered from Japanese retailers and shipped it here in PH For macross toys, very few supplier offers it and usually it has limited stocks or inflated price.

    HLJ is really random. Most of the time it is hours or even days after the official date, in some instances hours earlier than 4pm of the official PO date.

    This is my opinion but I really hate the ordinance from the 171 because it really looks old or does not really fit in the Frontier timeline (though I know it is due to the animation team who did the Frontier recycling the ordinance from Macross Zero). Hopefully, they still plan to have Valk weapon set for Frontier.
