the Battroid looks more buffed than the line-art requires, which, maybe a good thing for some.

the black wash have to be sealed in so that the light wash wont remove the black wash underneath.

not because Kawamori said it is totally different means it will be totally weird for Macross fans but of course, I might be wrong as well. ALL THIS SPECULATION ON 262 Battroid mode, it better be really good looking.

V3 means new set of compromise. V2 was able to get a good balance of compromise between all modes. Tbh, it s not outdated compared to hi-metal. But of course if they can create a better vf-1. They should. For me, I rather them focus on vf that really need revision like 11, 21/22 or a totally new mold like 3000 or 5000. It had been said many times though, super and strike parts needs to be reissued.

i just hope they shift to white backed decals or similar quality like one from Hasegawa which makes handling BIG decals very easily.

But bandai models' landing gear is always thicker than the DX version

It looks like the rear landing gear will rotate so that it will lay flat against the knee armor so that it will have less obstruction for gerwalk joint. Though that is the 1/72 model, in that CAD, the rear wheel is not really round and the upper part are chopped. I am still waiting for the DX toy to see on how this will be improved.

The placement of the rear landing gear is a surprise, cant wait on how Hasegawa will improve it.

I really like the waterslide option for the Metallic version of Freedom 2.0. There are plenty of markings but since they are small, it does not look overkill. Hopefully, it will be offered separately (i doubt though) Unfortunately, the price is not worth it (for me) since the colored armor parts are not undergated and waterslide and colored metallic finish dont go really well (silvering)

just build the more recent Hasegawa models that you can relate to. Building is awesome but building something that you like makes it a lot better. Since you are a plane guy, ignore the 1/72 kits from bandai.

SS parts is like printing money for Arcadia. Guaranteed risk free and will be a hit. Introducing assembly kit again is welcomed as well.
