I want that emblem and I kind of feel burned now for PO it. Can be remedied though it someone can release a good soft copy of it and print a decal.

Probably a long project since I procrastinate a lot. Plans Repair whatever is broken. It will be a fixed battroid toy (which basicaly involves destroying more parts as well lol) depending on the availability of tool and my limited skill, I might cut the wing short to have that compact backpack similar to lineart Paint scheme will be boring gray or off-white scheme with limited decal here and there. The key is to make it compatible to any scheme I might have for the GBP) If I have extra funds in the future, I might replace the head unit with Kurisama work on Macross Ride or Macross First head unit. (unless that VF-1D the First version is made). I really hate the obvious seamline on the VF-1 Head. Repaint the GBP armor (final scheme not yet decided) PS: If you are in the Philippines and you want to trade with GBP armor since you want the extra Tampo on it. Message me here, I am more willing to trade with you since everything will be removed when I paint it anyway.

How to repaint/customize paint scheme on toys?

Some toys can be easily repainted since it is hold onto by Clips and Screws but some toys are painful to customize due to heavy usage of Glues. You can only learn about the it by dis-assembling the toy as much as you can without destroying it. There is also a consideration if you can destroy a part and rebuild it later on. On my Painted Super parts for VF-25 Renewal, I had the option to destroy the Screw Covers since I can easily putty it back later. Though going back on the recent work that I did as well as my future project I am planning in the next few months, it just basically involve a lot of planning a. what parts that rubs of b. What parts that can be separated c. Color scheme, some scheme is actually bad for paint rubbing (this parts are better left unpainted or if to be painted, has to be handled carefully or with a good layer of protection, regardless, it will still chip but a lesser extent) d. what parts that you have to accept that the only way to paint it is by lots of MASKING MASKING AND MASKING. -
is there any alternative to Shapeway? I cant really afford their pricing and the shipping really makes it un-reachable to me. my vote though is VF-1D The first version.

For some weird reason, I cant upload the Phobe photo of the GBP armor with Missile effect. I won it at YAJ last month and after more than a month of waiting, I finally got it. It is supposed to be brand new but I dont know how/where to check if a Yamato packaging is truly MISB or Bnew. Will further inspect it later. -

I am pretty sure we are talking about mold as a set. IF anything to use as reference, the assembly kit VF-1 shows us how many set of molds are needed to create the said toy. I am with Jenius on the count.

So I bought one 31J on the release date and I have procrastinated long enough to actually paint it. Is there any tips you can share in masking that canopy? I can mask 1/72 scale canopy but that is downright microscopic for my skill. -
The lack of option parts is actually against it. If it is cheaper by 2000 or more so yen, then it might sell well. Otherwise, procuring the arcadia sounds a better a deal

Set design are indeed better. CG has improved a lot but it also means viewer are more used to it now. Just got back home from watching it. Wife and I enjoyed it. -
@Scyla But that less impressive gun was colored gun metal and made some people lose their mind. I am waging though, the CF will be easy to get after release, they rarely show up in the series and hardly do anything as well. But we are talking about a lot of year waiting for it to show up. This thread is like a rant thread now since it is true, the show only highlights select few.

Other than focusing too much on duel, it seems that they rarely use Gerwalk and Battroid mode and the fight scene is mostly on fighter mode. It is really good at first but it kinds of get boring later on. -
