I have been recommending his site to some Macross fans that I meet (via Trading of toy), some of them are newcomers (like me) and they tend to really got lost or afraid to dip in more since they are not presently collecting or was too young when Yamato was actively flooding the market with the toy. (some case are bad since people are taking advantage, selling V1 of Bandai and Yamato toy at the price of V2 or renewals) Anyway, I kind of regret not buying one at NY when it was available for below SRP, I thought demand was so bad that it will stay for a month or two and might be a good idea to buy one when the Yen (by miracle) value drops.

The standard yamato/Arcadia adapter works fine with yeti parts (you can connect it to the ya banking or ya standing parts ) I think he just offer it as an option and I believe it has advantages over the original. As long as he can improve the stock adapter, he will design and it print it. (Similar case as well to yf29 dx adapters)

but it is just a small 3d printed runner for the custom VF-1X++ head. afaik, it is only available at shapeways, so no options to buy it locally here. And yeah, customs rule sucks. I am currently deciding if I should order again (since the reason they told me was it was taxed because the paperworks was done before the effectivity date of the order) or just pay since it probably will cost the same.

random rant: UPS here in PH sucks. There is supposed to be a new Admin Order that except small value (more or less anything within 200USD approximately) from taxation but their process is still outdated and is still asking me money, what's more irritating is that they are asking almost 40 USD services and taxes when all I spent on it is only 34 USD (free shipping).

Thanks to the guide. It help me plan painting the armor. I think this is the last piece that you skipped, since it can be easily masked. Doing this will add stress and chips on plastic but you can pry the rear cover for the shoulder parts. Of course doing this means instead of masking, you will have to clean up the damage parts. edit: I forgot to take pictures as well. The booster has a top cover that is glued. No Frying needed here since I was easily able to remove the top cover when I removed the booster. Upon removal of the cover, there will be the last screw needed to dis-assemble it.

Well sword ii Blaster was not made available for 7 sword. So bandai qant might never have full saber since it requires different backpack

There are also panel in the wings that is part of the Arm that will be affected if the booster is blended/sandwiched in the wing. Yeah, bandai cant fix it since Kawamori designed it that way.

Noel, supers are actually funny for the 31 in general. That is my opinion. It looks the best though for battroid mode. Since it is a lead valk, will it be a good idea to hoard? This variant will have a chance on getting reissue.

yeah, third party is bringing the full saber version (with the option to move to basic) while Bandai is releasing the basic QANT.

It is from the manga and iirc, Most of the manga unit are released via P-bandai shop. So yes, it might be the next HG from GBF but chances are it will be P-bandai. (it might be using the new SF HG mold). It has that Cathedral gundam inspiration

^I think that was the intention. As long as a product line is profitable, Bandai will follow through. From my observation, most of the hi-metal toy are successful except for Monster since it got a discount within a short time from the release (from some retailer). There is Tamashii Nation event this weekend, maybe we can get new announcement of new mold or if they will re-use the VF-1 mold, they might as well release VE-1 or VT-1

the MB laevatein is approximate 180mm in height and scale well with other Metal build or 1/100 MG from Seed or 00. Bandai also teased a FMP figure for their tamashii nation event this coming weekend and Arbalest silhouette is in the teaser page.
