not really, Bandai tend to release better image and display actual model before pre-order. So chances are, it will be corrected in the future.

So this was discussed in the 262 thread. It seems like there is a 31 Variant every four months? December 2016 - Hayate April 2017 - Messer August 2017 - Mirage December 2017 - Arad April 2018 - Chuck August 2018 - CF? Arad machine potential timeline is funny seeing that it has Christmas colors . 2018 is the year of the 35th Macross Project so maybe the 31A will get more exposure to warrant a toy release with a different/traditional/non-walkure support/old school macross missile type of pod.

or paint some black stripe and label it 35th anniversary VF-31 Ichijo custom @Sandman his 1/72 kit is actually the cheapest in Mandarake. No exposure or even small scene to redeem as the captain.

I can't see it clearly in the pics but it looks like that the clear canopy does not have recessed area to imitate the traditional canopy frame (if that is even the correct term)

I snagged the first one to appear in mandarake. 20,000 yen, I know 900 yen is not much of savings but the ability to under-declare the value of the toy helps a lot for me. (and that it inself a savings)

there are gaps but nothing similar to the DX 31 nose to body gap. My order in NY is still on prep though I did pick SAL because of the quirks in our country postal services. Does the gun on the right arm can pop up on fighter mode?

of course it will have to do with HG. If they allow it to be sold outside of Japan, then HG will go directly to them, not the distributor. They can get more money that way.

SG P-bandai site announced a 2nd batch of Red Frame Kai and option set. It will open about 1 and half hour from now. I am not sure about JP P-bandai and if it will re-open today. This batch will come October 2017 instead of September -
I dont want tampons on my valks. Anyway, I would say that Arcadia failed to meet its objective when they announced the warning on the bootlegs/KOs. They just made people, who would not otherwise know about the product, know that a cheaper copy of items they wont release will get released.
