I only wanted the missile pod. Saw a 9000 yen used item on Mandarake and order that. I originally planned to wait it out but it seems that there are less supply out there (might be due to less order taken since interest on the 262 itself is not really high in the first place).

Exia or most of the 00 suit have smaller feet than usual or at least drawn to look smaller than usual since it arch up immediately unlike other mecha design that it stay flat for a few meters then arch up. Most of Kanetaka Ebikawa design have similar features as well. -
I suggest s gloss Clear coat First to easily see if you cover everything then another coat for the finish that you like. Satin or Flat

It looks like those are the original hollow tube. The guide for fixing it (if it appears in your copy) is good but I advise to trim more so that you can safely cover it with clear coat or better, color match paint to prevent rusting.

unfortunately, production cost will make the price creep up and Yamato BACK in the old days is a long time already. To put it in perspective, the new VF-2 HMR is actually close to DX Pricing of yesteryears.

The 262 expansion keeps getting sold in Mandarake while the 262 actual toy are not (even with 17k pricing). It looks like waiting it out to get cheap is a bad idea. I really want one just for the Leg missile compartment plus what it adds to the valk making it looks complete and create illusion that it is slimmer.
