What I love about the Yamato 1/60 are the play-ability. I can comfortably transform them anytime without thinking of getting loose overtime. This is quite different with the diecast materials used by Bandai in their joints. But still, I am seeing a great product from Bandai.

While I saw how fiddly it was, but I also saw that the fins are really flat when folded.

^Engineered toy. Bandai can not really do anything on the design. If you are talking about the huge unfolded backpack, it is not a unique case for 31, in fact 25 also suffers from it.

Shouldnt all DX VF toys have similar shipping rate? Why the 4,000 yen increase? edit: just checked recently closed auction for this toy. Cheapest MISB was 26,600 yen yesterday, but on average it should close around 28000 on average. There was a cheaper 24,000 but that is BIB.

the plastic looks like something that would react to light but unfortunately, I think putting leds on it will be a hell of a job. The recent DX figure from them has any barely visible screw.
