  1. ^ i think you are referring to runners, and yes, there are lots of post about it in the net that recycle those.
  2. I got one and started building it this week. I am mostly finished with snapbuilding and using screws and all of the package first to check if it is complete and all and to properly prepare myself what will be the way to paint it. to answer your question. 1. It has all the pins and screws needed. The pins are exact, no spare so be careful on this. The screws, I dunno if I missed some slot but there were a few spare. the Pins if ever you lose one, just look for 1mm, 1.5mm and 2.0 mm diamater metal rods. as for the shoulder breakage issue, the pins are not really marked or segregated. So just make sure you use the correct pins as to not cause plastic stressed. Based on Jenius (anymoon review for all VF1 v2), the assembly and un-painted kit are the v2.2 which means they are pretty safe in terms of shoulder issue. 2. I have tried using any cement or glue here since I am just testing the fits of the plastic. I would say yes, it might work since the plastic used in parts that needs to be glued, are not ABS plastic. 3. It has water slide decals and it seems thick enough. So in application, it might be tough enough but still, you need to topcoat/seal the decals after.
  3. it has a lot of difference when I google it
  4. i would say yamato/arcadia 1/60.
  5. it is a new mold, they will milk it. It is just a matter of time.
  6. I am from PH and to be honest (and not to be a jerk), I am thankful that the storm managed to evade us.
  7. i will be taking insperation from this one (of course without super parts since I can't find one) saw this from isamudeath at photobucket, found it when looking fo custom scheme for VF1. I already re-read your thread for like 2 to 4 times now and I always take notice of the rubbing part section so that is helpful.
  8. I would choose a life size fully functioning Minmay VF-0D.
  9. hi mickyG finally got mine. I need your insights here what would be better. Paint in runner and assemble or assemble first then paint in sub-assemblies (like hasegawa) this is my first 1/60 so I do not have any reference which is easier (and would it be easier for people with below average modeling skill to tackle seamline removal on this toy?)
  10. yes, there were supposed to be pics. I tried using OneDrive links since it is the only I know available in windows phone. too bad, it is not working. replaced the link with photobucket
  11. re-issue fast packs for vf-1. I cant find any decently priced one now in the internet.
  12. After 2 weeks of procrastination, finally decided to pick this up from the post office.
  13. yeah, HKcollectible seems like is still able to get VF-1A assembly kit after getting sold out. I think from the time I saw buy copies of it from that store, It got replenished 3x now. And yeah, I already snagged one but got no time to build it yet.
  14. OT dunno what is the point of contesting if it should be VF-1J or 1A CF. The thing is, the TV anime showed one hence, there is a 1/60 toy for it. and typical of anime even at this time, protagonist are shown to be have preferential treatment.
  15. Argenvollen looks good but it is okay-ish for me. Regardless, I will still watch it. As per Tokyo Ghoul, it looks very promising
  16. the v1 Vf-25 with tornado is okay-ish for me in fighter mode since it was able to hide most of the problems found in a naked v1 vf-25 toy. I would get one as long as it is cheap (bargain section) and is in good condition. if you love gerwalk (cant get the A stance) and battroid (not accurate with line art, too fat), feel free to skip all V1 toys, they never looked good with or without any armor.
  17. the Yf-19 arcadia pricing is something I am not willing to spend on a toy, but this VF-0D is really tempting me to ask me to save for him edit: i think the blurred part in the screen is the folder name, it must have abit of clue on what next project they will work on. This is just speculation on my end. the battroid stance pic showed the tamiya Accent color brown, that must've been the one they use to panel wash the model.
  18. damn duymon, you dont have to buy 3 copies each and make us jealous. nice MF collection
  19. for me, I would like undecided for alto (since in the show, he was able to use all fast packs) ozma on armored michael in tornado as well the rest on supers. as for ozma prices, anything about ozma is pricey
  20. well mandarake has a sold out listing at 12k and 13k. There are a lot of YJA listing for it as well, but proxy service means more expensive (and you have to compete with locals in Japan that can willingly spend 10 to 11k yen)
  21. wow. it looks good. I dont expect it to be ever cheap though. btw, no gerwalk pose?
  22. and it is gone
  23. i don't know what cames first and I am sure, about those three material I mentioned sure got something before them a similar scenario (or maybe not, maybe I am wrong). For me, they can keep recycling the same idea, as long as the execution, character development and other factors are good. heck, most shonen manga/anime that I watch all involve the same scenario (OP at start, defeated, trained or gained new knowledge, OP again, repeat)
  24. because of saburo, many MWF folks now wanted one
  25. i have been watching Knights of Sidonia - subbed. It is good for me. it is similar to muv-luv or attack of the titans wherein humans has been pushed to a corner by predators and have limited means of defending themselves.
