can you add a matching skull decal at the back, the booster like thing at the back is close to being a skull to me

My PC at home is still broken, but once it gets fixed, I will try to try those vector program for decal creation (hopefully it is easy for someone who never tried it before) Hopefully, there are good but free software out there since licensed programs are really expensive. Initial thoughts on masking those line, I think it is do-able (there are panel lines to follow so it helps provide a hard cutoff) but the problem is the tolerance for error. Once you messed up, it is hard to correct unlike with Model kit that you can easily dis-assemble the parts so maybe the Decal creation is "easier". anyway, I found this high res PNG of a converted 1/72 model decal. hopefully, those are given for those older VF-25F that become loose and the optional parts will be optional to the newer/stiff joints.

NY prices is about a brand new unit. Second hand or used price in Japan for VF-25S supers are about the same price as bnew 25g or 25a Supers (5.5k to 6.5k yen) You can also check mandarake for it (if you want to avoid proxy and it is cheaper as well) tbh, it is not ozma if it is not Armored Messiah :lol: It is a different story with alto though since he was able to use most of fast pack and valk in the Frontier universe. So Super, armored, and I guess the current Tornado will end up expensive as well when supplies run out.

From my observation at yahoo auctions at japan, 25A, 25S and 25g supers are cheaper. 25F Super is at least double the price of what the other three super ask for.

I PO one for my 25A. I will get it sometime in August. The alto version is the safe one to order since it has a neutral color.

For someone who never has tools for it or never tried any small PE parts, I am too intimidated by it. Hope you enjoy it so that you can build it faster.

^ it already sold well since you cant find an open slot for PO, as far as Bandai is concern, they have already sold enough. I am waiting for a grey or sort of low viz YF-30

For accessories of VF-25F (that is thanks to the July re-issue means it is "easier/cheaper" to get them now), Super Parts are really expensive, all the more is the Armored Parts.The multiple re-issue of VF-25F means that there is less Super/Armored parts around and supply and demand dictates it should have higher price. I suggest try to look at the upcoming Tornado parts if it is your thing. Since this is recently released, it might be reasonably cheaper.

afaik: super parts TV was released around 2008 super/strike parts DYRL around 2010 super/strike parts DYRL with options parts around 2012 I am also waiting for the separate release as well. edit: i guess if Yamato did not ceased, we can probably expect another release this year? I dont know why arcadia is not releasing them after releasing three VF-1 now.

i also got mine at hkcollectibles, but i think ebay prices is the same so just compare the price with shipping. as for the kit I got, the clear parts already got a yellowish tint.

^ i myself is saving for a targeted 30000 yen. I have a 1/72 model of it and it just really looks good.

^ i believe it is targeted towards modelers that can really customize their work. having it in colored translucent pieces will automatically limit the color choices in terms of painting it while having it clear, you will have choices on what color you can tint the canopy and other clear pieces.
