    i actually like the one-sided war in terms of technology, at least we get to see a warfare that is rarely used. the problem there is that the show shows that only one Earthling that actually uses their brain. The rest just went YOLO.

    @marzan thanks for sharing my thoughts: Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works - Just like what the previous comment about this, the movie lacks any detail and assumes that you watched the first anime or played the game. But imo, they should have just animate the 3rd route Gundam - even if Tomino describe his new series is not for the current Gundam fan, the eureka 7 feel is attracting me towards it. And the first Build fighter series is good for casual watching There are lots of Shounen/Sword/magic/Fighting anime - It will be a challenge to check them each and see if some of them are good.

    there was another 18k one that is already sold out when I saw it. I already bought an armored parts in Mandarake and really, quality is good for a BOX DAMAGED and used items

    great news. I was used to August - September start that I waited for late august to check Book 3 premiere date to notice that it is already done. I recently finished watching all episode, meaning that I do not need to wait that long to start watching the last season

    I know it is your opinion so I should respect it but saying that MUV-LUV is ultimately better than Fate/zero just doesn't suit well for me. First of all, I like mecha and Sexy girls in an anime but those are not even enough to save Muv-luv, the first episode shows so much promise since so many un-expected (for me ) things happen. It is so far, one of the most hated series that I ever watched and I really blame myself for watching the 70 to 80% of the announced episode thinking that it will redeem itself later on. Maybe you got burned watching too much in a short time? Maybe most of the people that suggested those series watched it as they go when they are still airing in Japan.

    I have no idea about why Astro plan is being discussed then I googled it. Man, I should have never done it in the first place. There is this Astro Plan toy commercial that says beware of bootleg at the end :lol: :lol:

    now we have two yf-30 that have the correct leading edge colors. Thanks Macross Junkie for sharing, as usual, superb work on both weathering and photography.

    I believe they do. Wmcheng always mentions it why he likes to buy at NY since that shop underdeclare the price which helps him save some $$

    for that size, it better have to be. anyway, one of the FB seller I followed before mentioned about it having Super Alloy, I tried to clarify if it meant die-cast parts or not since it is kind of vague, but there is no response

    from what I read, it is better than the usual China offering. Model Comprehend is one of the better China 3P company that sells gundam. Their XI gundoom is praised to have similar feel with Bandai but it is without an issue. I wish I can quote what I read before in other forum but I can't find it now. (there is active Youtube review on it though)

    as crazydude posted above, White, yellow and red are hard colors to use. I only have experience using white, but never expect to get a solid white color with one coat/stroke. Expect to get good coverage (no color bleeding) after 3 or more coats. Of course you can may get it after 1 or 2 coats but that will usually mean a much more thicker paint which is bad for brush painting since it will make the brush stroke more visible.

    what "strange"-ness did you encounter? I tried vallejo before when I tried to do brush painting a whole kit. It worked good for the most part it is just that I don't have the patience needed for brush painting (multiple thin coats to get solid color) so I went back to Spray cans.

    First time buying from Mandarake. They shipped the item in a much bigger box and with lots of styro padding (dont know what it is called, it looks like marshmallow).

    last time HKcollectibles had a vf-1A assembly unit. for around 45 USD, but it is sold out again. Ebay has some at 60USD before with economy shipping. I dont know now though
