    Kudos to Bandai and Sunrise for finishing the hell of crap called Buddy Complex. Nothing about the concept there made sense though, too much science magic. I am still wondering when will they decide to write again something decent like Code Geass.

    I went to the local hobby shop to get Tamiya White primer since I plan to paint the VF-1 Super parts to a Medium Sea Gray (AS-11). It was disappointing since after a long commute, I found out that they dont have any stocks but they have this Tamiya Pink primer. Anyone knows if I can easily cover the pink primer with medium gray?

    anyway, the toy is still available at amiami at discounted rate. I wonder how many will say that they want the toy when it is no longer available edit: I think they just went full lazy or cheaper model since painting the hand white will add time/cost.

    afaik, bandai had no trouble meeting the demand of a MODEL KIT.

    let's see which gets hype better. I am saving money for VF-0D as well but the complete PG kit (with lighting) will probably cost the same. As for the transformation gimmick, I really doubt this will be left behind. They were able to do it in 1/100 (MG and Metal build) and 1/144 (Super HCM) scale so there is really no reason to have no Transformation gimmick in a 1/60 scale. As for lighting package, I hope it is a regular release so that people with tight budget can get the base kit and upgrades later on.

    vf-4 is such a unique valk that it does not really look that it can transform. That is the reason why I hold it as my grail, aside from the fact it is overpriced now and I was not working when it was first released.

    technically it is not a glue, since it is a chemical that melt plastic in a controlled manner (or not, depend on how it is handled), melting the plastic and joining two broken piece of plastic this way by pushing both together creates a stronger bond. hence the "plastic weld" term.

    per anymoon/jenius Super Ostrich belongs to the AVOID list due to yamato defect on the shoulder. It is just a matter of time. option now is to get shoulder replacement from Shapeways or try returning it

    Slaine is so stupid, I can't even find a good reason why he decided to save Saazbaum. Maybe he got on the heat of the moment since every Terran is firing at him? Anyway, since the aldnoah drive activated for him. I guess Vers royal family will surely end and maybe it will start with Slaine?

    first half of A/Z is done. I kinda dont know how I should feel Tokyo Ghoul is done as well, seeing that it ended in the wrong content, I was happy to see that the Manga are finished so I read it. Again, I don't know how I should feel, I just hope if ever it was popular and gets another season, they would choose to alter the ending.

    @no3ljm ill try the cotton swab and alcohol then for the canopy, i did not use any compound for it since I dont have one. I did find a way to make it glossy again after removing the seamline but the main problem is on how to remove the small yellow tint, my thinking is that while I polished the top part of the canopy, the lower part is still yellowish but I cannot really buff the underside due to the shape. I really do not know what happened to the assembly kit, but all plastic are pristine white but the clear parts got small tint of yellowing. As for your suggestion, I am not sure what kind of brand of paint do I look for a clear gold. I am currently looking on how to do that kind of clear metallic tint found in real cars/planes. for your question 1. it is completely okay since the paint is fairly resistant after curing plus it is staying in the recess of the panel lines. there will be of course fading but it will take time to completely remove it by playing (unlike pencil or graphite that gets easily removes by the slightest touch) 2. while the first question saves you from topcoating, the second one, regardless of what method of transfer/process or how good the decal is, will require sealing the decals. topcoat can be scratched but it will mostly just look glossy or what is the underlying texture of the plastic. Letting the topcoat fully cured means that it will be more resistant than recently dried topcoat so resist transforming the toy for a few days if you ever topcoat. plus topcoating it to satin or matt finish will make it look better

    I got a junk Strike VF-1A in yahoo japan and received it. I bought it for the Strike parts (which the condition is fairly good) but the main valkyrie has yellowed. I plan to paint it later on so the first step is remove the paint. Anyone know if leaving it swimming in alcohol will help remove it or do I need a stronger chemical? And in the talk of aesthetic, I have an unpainted VF-1A (the reason I got those strike parts) but the Canopy has a small tint of yellowing. I tried to polish it (along with the seamline removal) but I never get to see it to return to its normal clear color. I currently have clear red and blue paint, what do you supposed is the better color to go along a mostly GRAY valkyrie? (I can also combine both to have a purple tint)

    aldnoah zero will continue next year, it will end the season I think with episode 12. OH NO!! I find the new Jojo season so entertaining that I never noticed that the last episode I watched is already 24, another things to wait for next year. SAO is a let down, I just hope the arc finale or next arc story will be interesting.
