the question is, who actually provides good customer service for international buyers? for those located at HK http://www.hkcollectibles.com/macross-robotech/7451-vf-0d-phoenix-shin-kudo-version.html roughly the same price of HLJ and Hobbysearch, too bad, the Shipping cost remains the same

@coreyD if it thickens, maybe try thinning them again. Thinners, regardless of bottle or container, will evaporate. Keeping them in dark place might help. I try to shake some small bottle every now and then, dunno if this is applicable to acrylic, but usually, paint and its binder separate later on making the paint behave weird when used later on.

me feels that that arcadia will just provide the stickers on this one.

the discount is base on MSRP the 8 or 10% local tax is base again on MSRP afaik, if you are buying and shipping it to japan, you get -20% discount and +8 or 10% tax international buyer does not need to pay the local tax HLJ (along with other large distributor) get more discount since they buy them in bulk. edit: sorry for the OT but I really am glad that Bandai has access to Macross Frontier and video games license, and hopefully they can get the future license as well. I will wait for the review if it is really worth that price tag, hopefully, it will not be like VF-4 when people realize that it is good it is no longer easily available.

iirc, this spoon where this article or forum post belongs to did more buffing later on and was able to remove the orange peel. So by that standard, if your paint is closer to this, then I would say you are doing a good work already. Anyway, this is the reason why I stay away from Car or Sports bike model or anything that involves glossy finish planes and robot, just use satin/matte and it automatically corrects or hide imperfections

I would like to say that not all pledge product is the same. I recently did tint a vf-1 canopy. Since I have no AB, dipping is the only solution for me. I did my google and found different forum and articale and most of them swears that tamiya and future combination works really well. This is until I tried to mix Tamiya smoke and Pledge here in Philippines. I would see that both really does not mix well and the clear color just clots. Good thing is I have a vallejo clear, I tried it and both mixes well. I have to thin it a bit more than usual though. EXO's point is spot on. Acrylic when not fully dried tends to react towards another layer of acrylic.

@MJ If ever I am near your place, I will be willing to send the whole valk for you to practice on (evil laugh) as for the leading edge, white will look good if you can do that thin line. I think the end of the leading edge near the lights are okay-ish but the midsection of the leading edge is like x2 thick than usual. But I think you can easily mask a thin line along the edge.

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
chyll2 replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
tbh, if you are not a fan then just enjoy it as much as possible and just do not expect anything. It is a lot easier than that. Fanboy will make it sound it is the best thing next to slice bread. If anything, the series is well funded now (due to the success of the first series, spin-off and prequel) and the fight scenes are better animated. October list first impression: Rage of Bahamut: Animation are good and the idea of Giant monster battling is something I like. Hopefully, it wont get filler like materials and lots of fanservice. Since it is a card-based game, I just hope it gets a complete story. Cross Ange: Seed / Seed destiny template. The first episode was supposed to be tragic background of the princess but again, fanservice happened. I like the Motorcycle like mecha they ride but I hate the robot/mecha mode. TerraFormars: still nothing happened. it is currently censored though so some parts are not seen. I still have yet to see how they fight that humanoid roaches Madan No Ou to Vanadis: Fanservice anime. Nothings happening though so I might stick around. Log Horizon: I am a MMORPG player so I picked this up before. imo, one episode in and i can say it is a lot better than SAO II which has been a dis-appointment until now. Gundam Reco: Watched it even though Tomino said that current fans should not watch it. I think it looks promising. The protagonist are overly retarded for liking though. What I really like about it is on how it looks modern and retro at the same time. -
I already did search. I think no one has created a 1J head for yamcadia 1/60. Un-assembled kits are actually pricey if ever they are available.

I have nothing against this release, in fact, I totally miss yamato back in the days so I have nothing to rant about. So far, arcadia surprised me by choosing to release that VF-19 Kai. I just wish too that they rush and milk the VF-4 molds

posting pictures of it would go a long-way. covering screw hole: Two part putty, modelling putty, will work. Some two part putty do shrink though, so it is always better to let them fully cured before painting to be sure. Drilling: Get some pin vise and some drill bits that is match to hole you are creating. I think those are the reason why I usually stay away from Resin kits, Aside from adding new materials, it also requires a higher level of modeling skills.

the thread suddenly became "please post the new blue" anyway, yeah, we want to see it.

The moment that your favorite suit got RG treatment, for me it is really no brainer. Even if HG now has advanced, the part separation and details that RG offers. It also helps that it really got a good articulation for posing. Of course it is not all miracle, so do not expect any RG kit that has back pack to be balanced for standing poses. I am mostly a seed guy so I am still waiting for the Red Frame RG. By trend alone, almost all PG got a RG treatment. as for PG unicorn, at first I was so excited and agonized by it. But later on, I decided, do not get hyped for PO and just wait for Actual samples and review. This is no P-bandai item so it will be regularly release over time.

everyone would get one at MSRP and if it is readily available, I think most of the people want it back then do not have the funds back then.

this something I will expect in a metal slug game The F-22 is a good looking plane but the F-35 looks terrible. However always remember that the US could have it worse:
