  1. tbh, it is not "bit" pricier since its double the price, but yeah, for the asking price of the rare yamato toys, I think it is a lot better to spend them on 0D. or forever stalk mandarake for secondary market items. (sometimes YJA also auctions VF-11C and sometimes, 11C will fall under 20k yen mark)
  2. that double attachment is genius!
  3. it was actually there for half a week now, I guess. It got there along with other "B" frontier stuff (I guess one guy decided to dump all of his collection) Im pretty sure the folks out there are waiting what will happen in November and yeah, there is a sealed version at 27k yen. Again, no one is biting YET.
  4. sv-51 yamato has a SRP of 20k+ yen, with Arcadia milking the molds and adding useless extras, they can easily charge close to 30k yen for it. With renewal or new version of the mold, you are simply asking them to charge 40k yen Saburo's pic has shown though that it is a very unique and good looking Valkyrie.
  5. I guess I was too excited earlier. I put the wrong link. Just as Kanedas stated below, it is the VF-25F priced at 7k yen with missing tray/polysterene. thanks! yep, that is correct. I am currently requesting pics before paying. I actually dont mind missing a tray or polystyrene, I would be so damn pissed if the valk itself was lost in translaton
  6. OT but I totally agree, but I am kind of worried with Arcadia pricing. Hopefully they wont put in useless extras to increase the price more.If at all, they can easily remove the now standard Optional parts as well.
  7. https://twitter.com/Mrk_arcadia/status/524136975591145475/photo/1 dunno what this pic should tell
  8. @wmkjr i would say yes, it would roughly the same size. Since mslz22 version is 1/72 and the announced product is scaled close to 1/72 the second picture is the 1/60 yamato prototype. At that scale, articulation needs to be crippled to gain stability, unless they use more engineer which would cost more
  9. I am happy for bandai sponsoring the show. I know the Pre-order madness is there, but at least, it is not 300 to 400 usd per pop.
  10. even with the exclusion, I will be the first few who will take your word for it
  11. was able to bag this. http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/search.do?searchStrategy=keyword&action=keyword&doujin=all&keyword=vf hopefully I'll got it edit: notice there is a MISSING notice in translation.
  12. yes, been a fan of his site since it is one of the few sites that offers WORDY review unlike other review that tries to get them all ASAP and just post of completed pictures.
  13. it is a great kit battroid kit, it can even do a good standing pose with Super Parts on, something that MG Aile Strike ver. RM have trouble doing without careful balancing. The fighter mode just wont line up properly even if I used glued. Makes me thinks that the problem is on me and not on the kit since I saw some modeller OOB build that there is less gap. as for the gerwalk pose, just look for the v1 1/60 gerwalk, it looks closer than that. you can do a fake A-Stance by dislodging the intakes from the fuselage. It is kind of big deal for me since I love Vf-25 gerwalk the same with Vf-1 Gerwalk.
  14. excited on the new valkyrie design. maybe vf-29 and vf-30 will be CF by now
  15. you should have choose the more traditional TS-21 for the gold. At least, it would be the same price for other TS spray can. I think that shops sells the tamiya spray can for a lot (but I dont have any idea on the pricing of tamiya at your place)
  16. I went and bought a used Super 25S, it is the first model that I scrapped. First of all, I never wanted to get the bare valk since i heard that fighter mode is crap and super/armored is better since it has locking tabs. I was wrong, anyway, the fighter mode is so irritating to lock in/lined up, Gerwalk mode does not look good unless it is in a stand (standing gerwalk is the ugliest gerwalk pose you can ever do, cant do the A stance) and it looks really good in battroid.
  17. i got a very yellowish super VF-1A with rainbow canopy. it has a severely cracked rainbow canopy that just by putting my finger below the canopy is enough to remove it. For the spot that cant be easily be removed, Alcohol and cotton is enough.
  18. comparing 1S yamato vs 1S arcadia, there seems to be a 50 to 60% price increase, if this one will follow that price change then we are looking at around 27k yen.
  19. any speculated price on this one?
  20. chyll2

    VF-1 Plush toy

your brain tells you that but collector's or a fan's heart wants that cute valkyrie
  21. for that rainbow canopy, is there any proven way to preserve it?
  22. I was able to cancel a PO in NY before without any problems. I did contact them in advance though. But I kinda doubt that you will need to cancel it unless HLJ does something un-expected for this year black friday sales. The usual discount for this type of item is around additional 10%, so comparing 29k yen to 31.2k yen of NY, that will easily cover the 15 to 20 dollars, then the EMS savings will be like additional 5 to 10 dollars. There will be savings but I think not enough to cover the 40 to 50 dollars the customs office is asking. Here in my country, I have to pay a minimum of approx $20 to $30 even if I blatantly cheat and declare the lowest possible price for any toys I import.
  23. imo, water slide are easier to apply and looks better but needs a proper procedure to make it work. I kind of understand why arcadia or yamato really like to use stickers since these are toys that are meant to be handled. waterslide thickness = it is really thin and fragile for normal or even careful toy handling. this means it needs to be sealed before playing with the toy water slide border = this will be removed after applying decal soltuion color bleeding = this is a problem with the older decal printing solution but It surprises me that the Anniversary 1J has a decals that bleeds. the new decals hasegawa provides is very opaque and no longer bleeds. But I have to agree, VF-1 has the right amount of Balance in terms of tampo printing.
  24. from what I heard, it is a open pre-order so there is less chance of it to get sold out, add the fact that there are many complaints about the price (that even mr. K tweeted about it) You can just easily take PO at HLJ and cancel them during the Black Friday sale to be sure though.
