    I got curious when you mentioned undergating so I had the time earlier to watch it. There sure are lots of undergate. It makes lazy painting more easier (I am referring to painting all the parts while still attached to runners)

    I really dont think they will go beyond 10k yen on this. The DX Messiah are listed at 14k but it needs more material (since it is bigger by scale and real size) and requires lots of paint application (VF-1 paint scheme are really simple and most of the time, just needs to be molded in the correct correct)

Hopefully it will end up cheaper than NY route.

    nothing beats panel lining in terms of the cheapest and easiest way to bring out the detail. I would advise though, that Gundam being generally white, stay away from Black panel lines. Gray is a good start. Of course next would flat or satin coat after all the decals and panel lining are done. (the only thing hard with flat or matte coat is knowing if it is a good time/place to do it)

    it is not like Arcadia do not want to get destroyed. They do not want to milk the molds, for example, there has been a long cries for release Strike/Super Parts.

    this one looks more evil that Brera's version Question, why do the Percival displayed do not have the twin mounted cannons? The Fighter game screenshot I saw on the net shows that it is very identical to other yf-29

    iirc, it should be ET since both Freedom and Justice (and their upgrades) were launched most of the time in Eternal (that also holds the METEOR)

    I am personally using FromJapan, they have option to ship via SAL, EMS and FEDEX. Other people also uses Buyee (they have higher commission but allows to store items upto 90 days) As for searching yahoo auction listing, just do search using "DX VF" or "DX VF-25S".

    with all of the ozma popping out. My resolve to not get one is getting questionable. I am staying away from it since most likely than not, I will be forced to get Armored parts which is not cheap.

    for those that want to buy outside their comfort zone. You can try Japan auction, people at japan never seems to spend beyond 16.5k yen for a new 25S. With commission and shipping, I think the price is close (still cheaper) than Nippon Yasan

    I actually like the way syd does his review sans his rating system which is usually subjective. For example, the F91 kit, it scored 91.4% when it was clearly written and shown that there are lot of ugly stickers used that never line up properly, you can see a lot of white plastic that has lots of detail but not enough stickers to cover them. but yeah, i get your point about RG, and that really makes me glad that there is a RG line, for just a few more dollar and you can get a lot of articulations and details. Heck, i dont even bother to put the stickers and it still look good.

    ^base from last year, Bandai stretched out its release on each month but seeing that they have announced more product for next year, one's wallet will get really dry if they happen to like two or more in a single month

    I agree pics always help, I dont onw a VF-1J but I always get the impression that the assembly kit are really bright (just like the newer arcadia).

    that is the reason why I always wait for review before I pre-order. Every now and then, Bandai release questionable HG.

    from what I understand from the first batch of picture, it is displayed behind a case that makes it harder to see on a straight angle (fighter mode is looking slightly upward towards the corner of the display box)
