I am experimenting with a 6" stand with my 25A. That plane is currently top coated with matt finish and when I leave it overnight, I can lift the plane and the whole stand will be lifted as well The stand will separate after a few second but I notice that there are now glossy mark under the plane, small but it is there.

I got two of these from a local trade. He only got 6" version. What is the best way to cut the pole? I find it difficult to do dynamic pose when all of the pole are the same size.
-
there were no picture of stand in hobbysearch, amiami and other site the description also includes Macross stand for attachment (hobbysearch) Macross Stand attachment (amiami) so I think it is safe to assume that it is only the stand attachment.

but still, two 180 dollar toys are coming out in the same month and I want both

dont compare Arcadia and Bandai pricing anyway, SRP is 23000 yen without local tax. 10% off = 20700 15% off = 19550 they are both approximately 170 to 180 usd after conversion edit: i forgot that this one is a normal release. PO madness
-
is this confirmed?
-
they have a long list of toys they need to re-issue. VF-4 in FB2012 colors
-
is it even available separately? Did anyone before, tried to recast the web-exclusive effects parts? edit: PO'd at NY. approximate 16% discount. Kind of tempted to pay for it now since yen got lower again. (Amiami is actually 14.7% discount since the 21% discount they are offering are based on the after-tax price but still better than the 10% discount from Hobbysearch and HLJ)
-
yes. the VF-1 Pictured is the standard yamcadia VF-1J
-
they can read our minds
-
it is even less than half the question is, pay for it now or wait until May (we need crystal balls now)
-
for those that plan to buy the arcadia's armored VF-1J, this is a good time to buy the 30th anniv version

Gundam Build Fighters/Build Fighters Try
chyll2 replied to VF-15 Banshee's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Try Burning Gundam = meh upgrades, might include more effects parts though Lightning Gundam Full Burnern = looking good. The back pack looks like the one from Rezel and Star Winning Gundam = imo the best looking upgrade- 971 replies

imo, the shades is better compared to the very MAX-like color before. But still, the promo shot or the box art color are better. Hopefully, it will be fixed before going to production.
-
nice, all of the discracting colors are covered
-
OT: this has been a question, but why do almost all of the Variable fighter except VF-1 are large. Even with introduction of advanced technology (story wise), they never released a VF in similar size with VF-1
-
I would always b!tch about arcadia's pricing
-
imo, for countries that has serious DUST problems, Closed Display shelves help a lot.

so without tax it is 23800 with standard 10% discount we are looking at 21420 yen. edit: I must say I am glad since my estimate was closer to 30k yen

Mandarake requires camping (not really healthy to do) but it is the only source of getting cheap Strike/Super Parts. The usual asking is 8k yen. If you follow YJA, Strike/Super parts with Option parts ends up priced 8k to 11k yen (depend on the condition and if it has option parts). That is before shipping and commission for proxy. People automatically buys its if it is priced 100 usd and below. (i tried to search at mandarake, but it looks like even the weathering version are sold out)

Dont worry, episode 12 and 13 is released today so it is the usual 2 part ending.

1/72 Hasegawa vs 1/100 Wave Battroid (from a Gundam perspective)
chyll2 replied to Quagga's topic in The Workshop!
based from the video Jefuemon has posted, the wash is applied through out the model. The Vallejo washes that I tried has similar consistency. It is like a dirty water with very little acrylic suspended on it. I have a hard time using it since I was doing panel wash while by focusing on one panel line and moving the kit around to let the Cappiliary action to do its thing. (just like how an enamel panel line wash) The thing is, it does not behave like an enamel wash, so next time, I will follow the way it was shown in the video.
