    it was supposed to be on the most recent macross toy purchase but I went ahead and did a color swap to the 25G Super parts (5k yen from Mandarake). To play it safe so I can transfer it on another 25 (if ever I get another armor parts), I choose medium sea gray from Tamiya (AS32) There are four plastic piece that still needs color swapping then everything will be lined and flat coated similar to the 25F.

    plenty of stocks at SRP, you need to bleed a little (or a lot) though for the super parts

    as long as it is assembly kit, ill bite any yamato/arcadia kit even if it is painted pink. My VF-1 is shaping really good and overall I am happy, even though there are mishap (due to lack of practice and patience on my end)

    there is a reason why I really like a weathered look. cause it is hard to do a clean job. nice job on lining your toy. It really brings out the detail

    that is a lot of boosters. Nice WIP edit: at the topic of landing gear, are there any materials that shows it being launched using launch arm or specific launch base like one used by atmospheric booster

    make the pin larger by coating it with any clear coat (varnish, nail gloss, etc).

    you cant really compare it with PG gundam, it is both bigger and less complex design to be represented accurately. For Joint C, I just put a drop of clear varnish or pledge/future. Move it around so the whole pin gets covered. The effect though wears out fast so if you can do a similar fix like what spanner said, then that is the better solution

    seeing that Arcadia YF-19 gets sold pretty quick at Mandarake and already sold out. I would say, it will be hard to obtain later on.

    what are the chances of gunpla academy losing before the finals? so that the fight similar shown in the OP will not happen? (like how kampfer amazing vs FP build strike never happened)

    Online exclusives are made to order. So buying it from NY, for example, during pre-order period means you are getting it close to SRP. They tend to appreciate once the PO'd stocks get sold since bandai will rarely re-issue Online Exclusives.

    it wasnt as bad as you make out it to be. If at all, the Metal build line of Bandai shows that they can provide the quantity if they wanted to. For example, the Avalanche exia normal release was avaialable to PO for days. It is the limited release (the one with extra GN sword) that sold up really quick. imo, nothing beats the PO madness for Bandai Macross DX toys because bandai dont want our money.

    there is also a three part OVA for Code geass (though the last episode is not yet out) broken blade / break blade. (the series is actually the movie/ova broken down into episode with added flashback)

    yes, the difference is the color and decals since it depicts the Zeta Gundam used by Amuro Ray (Pilot of the original Gundam). Another thing, it got lots of extra parts hence it has a thicker box than the normal RG Zeta edit: i guess picture tells a lot (random pic from internet) The one of the left is what you purchased, Zeta 3A or White Zeta

    I rage quit when I forgot to turn on my browser refresher the other day and missed the 10k yen Max version anyway, nice plane. I really wanted one to see how it transforms. (though it will always stay in fighter mode)
