  1. That's already been made. Cheap, straight to DVD coat-tailing. Saw it at the video store within a month of SOAP. There was also some sort of "Zombies on a Plane" movie. Ah, straight to DVD stuff...
  2. So, will you be unable to cover the canopy with the back-plate in battroid mode? I can't help it, that makes the 25 look very odd - with it's pilot visibly in its butt.
  3. Even when I first heard about this flick on Pharyngula, I said "Hells yeah!" Now I see it has Debbie Gibson & Lorenzo Lamas!! All it needs now is the "Chairman" from Iron Chef America and it's gold!!1!
  4. I think if you've seen the first, you can rather safely skip to episode 10. I think I've finally seen about all of the Macross animation. I just skipped to the end of FB2012, though. What I'd really like to see is an edited summation of the video games. I've seen several of the cutscenes and such on youtube, but not enough to really follow what's going on.
  5. Ugh, tell me about it... It's finally started to rain and the ground's too dry to soak it up! Hmm, something tells me this thread could be good for my Netflix queue... Please, do go on.
  6. Super sweet work, man. Most impressive. In addition to VF-0 & Armored-25 styling, it also reminds me of the old armored gerwalk and VSF-2 Star-child sketches. *edit: images added from MAHQ, ImgDump
  7. Hmm, no the real question is: Where can I find the artwork that they used? Wow, I'm sooo stoked over the 1/72 Q-rea! (although, it does really seem a little small...)
  8. So what do you think these huge open leg-spaces were used for by the Zentraedi crew?
  9. Ever since the VF-X GNU came out, I've been considering holding off on this one for a repaint. It seems pretty clear now, Heat shield + Fetus + Moving = Wait. Ah well, it's for the better really. I will enjoy it vicariously, here.
  10. Excellent, Smithers...
  11. Nice forced-perspective pic!!
  12. Loses arms to Vajra in Ep2 Loses a leg to Vajra in Ep4 Actually, I was bummed out when he jettisoned the wings of the Armored pack in Ep14. He shot at the Vajra Queen (or Princess?) with everything he had left. That might've been our only chance to see those big freaking cannons at work. But no..... and back on topic, wow, that's a sexy 25S.
  13. I think Sideswipe is one of the better designed transformers in the movies. He kind of reminds me of Thrust from Beast Machines - one of my favorite TFs evar.
  14. The last idea sounds interesting. It'll be tricky to keep from overdoing it, though.
  15. Couldn't get hobbyist to work, but found the pic on Nhee Khiong. Wow. It's amazing. I'll wait, though, let it get cheaper, work on others & my house in the mean time. Actually, I was just considering keeping some of my VF-1 Reaction missiles in reserve for this kit. Apparently not necessary...
  16. Sweet. After some discussion, we've decided that I should do something relaxing until we find out when we'll have to move. Time to get back to that 1A... That much closer to my 25.
  17. Whoa, yeah, I have to wait. In addition to my wife being pregnant, I might be moving in 3 months, and I'm trying to finish off at least 2 models before I buy anymore. I want to finish my Hasegawa 1a, and either the Valley Gunship or Starfury before I give in. It's good to hear that the prices are dropping, then! It'll probably be mid-summer before I can worry about these aspirations... Meh, I'll probably just end up collecting unbuilt & half-built kits like my father & his father before me... But I desperately want a 171!
  18. That depends on whether the Super Luca kit comes with Ghosts or not. That's half of why I really want that kit! As far as the covers, I care not. I was actually thinking the RVF might look good in classic ELINT colors.
  19. That's good to know. I'd been thinking of putting together a nekkid Alto, and a Super Luca. Might be the cheapest way of doing that...
  20. Even then, it's the lower booster that will be trickier, as it will have to hold the weight up, while the upper booster can be cradled.
  21. Yeah, I posted that as soon as the commercial break hit!
  22. It seems like the 11's boosters are proportionally thicker than the shuttle's SRB's. What might work would be to use a larger scale shuttle, then cut the boosters in half. I am tempted by this idea as well...
  23. *Looks at photos... *Looks at wife's growing tummy... *Shakes fist.
  24. Hmm, I always thought that was a funky reworking of the 2SS. Looking at it again: the chest, wings, head & legs seem to transform very similarly to the 25.
  25. I had one of those! What the hell was that from, anyway?
