  1. Not from the Chronicle, but these may help. I'm pondering doing the same thing.
  2. Awesome! I hope it will fit the new Arcadia version too!
  3. To that end, the folding triangles are so thin that I don't think printed replacements would work. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind a removable part to replace them, should mine break. It'd actually be easier to deal with...
  4. Fortunately, having 2 kids now, I have to be much more selective about which movies I'll see at the theaters. At least until they're old enough to drag me to see some awful things like the Smurfs or the Oogieloves. Oh, I hope I can impart some decent taste on these two!
  5. The thing about beating someone to death: There's still blood left in the body. Despite all these problems, I found STID entertaining. The real problem is that it's indicative of the industry. The entertainment doesn't stand up to any scrutiny once the ride is over. Movie execs don't care about putting out enduring films, just flashy enough to get you in there opening weekend. And Ryan Church designs EVERYTHING.
  6. I got about halfway through carving a new pair of legs for the matchbox N-Ger. Then I had to start packing for our move. I've also considered modding a 12" robot toy into a renegade suit. And order some of Kurisama's Q-rau kit. Now I currently have no hobby zone & a 6-week old boy. Sigh, some day...
  7. wwwmwww: I haven't seen the movie, but that reminds me of the robots from The World's End. Here's another neat one that I'm trying out. However you feel about PR, Striker Eureka is awesome. (null)
  8. I'd like them to use that canopy color on other VF-1 releases. It's pretty awesome.
  9. This is my current wallpaper. Gotta say, I really dig that 2001 screen. My home screen is my daughter buried in cuddly shark toys. (null)
  10. No no no, those are beam sabers, silly. (null)

    Fixing my 11B

You could try sculpting a little ridge with JB Weld. Just be sure it cures fully before attempting to transform it. I would think that would be enough to hold the nose in place.
  12. To boldly brew where no man has brewed before!
  13. Finally catching up on series 6 while I stay up with my <week old. Really enjoyed "the Doctor's Wife" this morning.
  14. Looks promising so far. Ship is reminiscent of the Falcon & Ebon Hawk, while having its own identity.
  15. Does the nose look too short? Or maybe it's just the perspective on the rendering.
  16. Huh, Horizon Brave runs on Linux and Netflix. I'd really like to see this again on the big screen, but I don't see the timing working out this week. Ah well.
  17. Maybe the stand is big because it's designed to support the big valks. They'll likely pack the same stands in with the YF-19, and (hopeful) VF-0D, YF-21 and so forth. The X-9 would look tiny on that, though.
  18. Oof, if that's the price, I might be better off with scalper yammie prices... Doesn't bode we'll for the yf-19 price. :0
  19. It's a shame that Nielsen went so fare down the rabbit hole. It would've been nice to see him in some serious roles still. Dracula: Dead and Loving It wasn't funny at all, it just made me sad.
  20. Meh, the Zuckers stopped being funny after Hot Shots. Oh, autocorrect...
  21. Still looks great. Sigh, maybe someday my cheap Regults will have a boss. About how tall is that thing anyway?
