I think he would have looked better as Cpt. Wilder or Mr Bilrer. Love the Pixis outfit, though.

Also, interesting to see the pic of Galaxy Anonymous. I always thought it looked like those 3 guys had implanted themselves into Exsedol's brain. Perhaps they are making use of an advisor's analytical hardware...

I don't think I've been this eager to see a movie again since the 20th century. Partly to somewhat relive that moment when my daughter was staring wide-eyed at the screen & whispered "This is awesome, Daddy." Partly to see the middle that we missed while in the lobby. Mostly, though, I just want to see more of the background, and to pick apart how detailed the world was. Also, while browsing BrickLink, I just realized that Lord Business's evil outfit is just a big red tie. Love it.

My little girl was recovering from being sick today & had earned a big surprise, so we caught a noon showing. It was awesome!!! We missed everything between the big chase at the beginning and the cloud palace, though. She got a little overwhelmed, this was her first trip to the theater. The appearance of superman saved the day, and she was into it after that. She was quite excited to find out that I have 5 cases of lego in the attic.

They were essentially Sound Force Boisters, v2. Would've been cool if Ranka was wearing a Sound Force harness.

The blue space guys were pretty rare, IIRC. Supreme geekdom here: It looks like Benny has the thicker lip on his helmet, which was designed to overcome the cracking issue. I think I'm going to recommend seeing this with the kid. It might have a few stressful moments for her, but it's lego, with batman and wonder woman! Plus, it may be a gateway to more actiony movies like Star Wars...

Think it'd be ok for a four year old? Any scary parts? Of course, it's a moot point this weekend, if her current bedtime behavior keeps up.

I'm looking forward to the reviews on this. If it's light enough faire, then I might take my daughter to see this as her first theater experience. She loves Lego and Batman, but gets scared pretty easily.

The colors look good, and the head sculpt on it's own isn't too bad. But the new busy head with the already busy design of the 29 is just too much for me. Also, I think Benson's right, the ear lasers are too widely spaced. It's not just that they're angled outward - the head is wider at that point, AND there're 2 layers of lasers hanging off.

They don't look too bad. I'll admit, I question any reference to "the original source material." I'm convinced they mean Dimension X, pizza & news reporters. Sigh. I loved the 4-person standup game! My pals & I would go to Villa Park, catch a movie, hit Gamer' Paradise, dinner @ Garibaldi's, then camp on that game at the arcade. Memories... 'Course if anyone else is looking for a trip down to the good old days, I hear there's a lot of 33 classic issues on eBay right now...

To be fair, wasn't Tennant just wearing his own suits with a pair of All Stars? It wasn't until he added the trench coat that he looked Doctor-y, This costume gives me a Pertwee vibe, but it needs a shoulder cape. The all-black seems odd for the Doctor, though.

I watched the FSS movie a while back. Can't say I really disagree with you. It felt like I was missing a lot - like it was the first 2 episodes of a series. I presume there's a compelling story in manga out there, but was there any other animation? -

I would so buy one of those. It'd be cool to cut the joints & put in Revoltech joints. Or you could plan it that way for printing... Amazing Regult, I.O.! Sigh, what might've been.
