  1. I have the HG 1/100 of that. It's higher quality than the older MGs that I've built. I bought it for parts, but then really came to like it. I'll probably give it a coat of bolder red than the kits plastic, though - break in the airbrush after a long hiatus.
  2. Ugh, I did Florida for 8 years. I feel for you guys. Good luck over there!
  3. One other thing to consider would be dyeing some of the pieces, particularly the ones prone to scratching. While the color may not exactly match your paint, it would be less noticeable than the white plastic.
  4. That was great. I'm so stoked for this. I keep worrying that I'm seeing too much and getting all the good parts in the trailers. But the good parts keep coming!
  5. Looks like I might need to start saving up for the VF-0S release. Probably gonna skip this version though...
  6. I wouldn't give it a good home. I'd buy it with the best of intentions, but ultimately it would languish unattended in a box in the basement.
  7. Seems like this would've been a good candidate for some kind of alternate gun pod mount, i.e. the VF-17 or VF-2SS.
  8. Well, yes. However, if you go to see a movie about transforming alien robots, and said robots are forced to take a back-seat to generic humans, it would be nice if those humans were mildly entertaining. - sorry, my grammar is awful today. Need to enroll at the DZCFCWCRG(AWTDOTGT)
  9. Or a prequel, like that one dude in P2 who had trophies from the 19th century.
  10. Indeed. I wish they'd come up with a better way to hide the gerwalk joint, so they could recess those fan blades more. Seems to plague all of the 1/60 valkyries: yamato, bandai & arcadia. It's worst on the VF-19's though, when they just said "F it!" and left the covers permanently on.
  11. As lame as the premise feels, I'll admit: That little guy IS cute.
  12. Wow, really nice work!
  13. I just put together a Kallax last night. It'll serve as a boot bench in my mud room after we redo the floors. Seems pretty sturdy under my butt for now. Unless your Detolfs are full of rocks & fossils, it'll probably be fine. One could easily reinforce it by adding a plywood backing.
  14. The Red Elvises are one of my favorite bands. We used to catch them every time they came to Tampa.
  15. Yep, I'm married to a lady scientist & I have a little girl who loves science. I'm all over this set. Yes. A thousand times, yes.
  16. So is Michel. & Pres. Glass & Nanase's left eye. That's one of the biggest problems with the Frontier movies. I liked them, but things ended up SO different from the series. At least SDFM & DYRL killed off the same people, but in different ways.
  17. The YF-29 stole so much from this design, yet it's nowhere near as cool.
  18. If I can find my old doodles for this, I'll post my thoughts. Transformation or not, if you made this printable (or print, then cast) @ 1/72, I'd be all over it. (null)
  19. Amazing! I've pondered the transformation of this several times as well, but have never come up with anything satisfying. Since there's no scale, I always wondered if this was a 2-seater side-by-side. Just don't give it a Space Pope hat!
  20. I've never cared for the nightingale, but I am excited for the Mk3.
  21. Yeah, and the FAST packs are WAY too big. Just compare them to the screenshot! Outrageous.
  22. Ah, I thought I remembered seeing the casting of english VA's.
