I like the weighting on the word "popular." Popular then? Popular now? How do we judge popularity? Popular in the Japan? Popular in Macau? Graham's saying "popular" pretty much just means it's a show we've heard of, I don't think he went and checked the Nelson's before making his remark.

broken back: someone karate chopped the center lifting the front and rear.
-
That's the resin version right? If so I'll forgive some of the gaps. The broken back is a bit of a concern but still too early to be too concerned... that might also have something to do with it being resin and maybe not yet able to latch down properly.

Maybe Graham didn't realize how badly some members want better Mospeada toys on this board. He didn't say anything that would make us to certain it was Mospeada like "a transforming 80s anime that featured motorcycles and connect-able fighters."

It specificially says 0S but I'm still in the office so I don't have the link to Amenbo in English handy. It says something very similar to how I've written it above. Maybe it says "Fits with VF-0s" meaning plural VF-0. Either way, Amenbo says the drone can definitely be put on the Valk (if it fits on a 0S it has to fit on the 0A).
-
Nope, Amenbo doesn't say. It just says something simple like "Attaches to VF-0S!"

The doorways in the SDF-1.

The size difference isn't all that great. I'd say.... BOTH!

a 1/60 Destroid would be almost exactly the same size as a 1/60 VF-1 in battroid no? I'm not a huge destroid fan, would rather have Regults and Glaugs, but the 1/60 seems like a fine scale to me. I think the Gladiator would be the most fun as far as toys go (that might be a Robotech name, I don't follow Destroids). The other destroids are just legs and weapons, at least the Gladiator had arms. All time favorite would definitely have to be the MacII though... I'm going to replace my coffee table with one if they ever make it!

Wouldn't you use a lot less fuel in space since there's no friction slowing you down and limited gravity pulling you? Seems like a well timed burst here and there ought to keep you going and on track.

In my defense, I've only had the 0S for like a week or two Amenbo says the drone Ghost attaches to the VF-0S so all is good there. I'm placing one big ol' order at the end of the month and I'm gonna have it shipped via boat. I'll let you all know what I think when I get it in July

I'm pretty sure both Voltron and Robotech made it onto UK TVs. I know Robotech The Movie was released in the UK on VHS (not that that means anything). I'd have to check the Wikipedia for more info thant that though.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, glad ya liked it! Yeah, there was a lot of other ways I could have structured the reviews. Everything with the exception of the C&C section are supposed to be in order of how you'd notice things if you purchased the toy. First the box, then what the toy looks like, then how the toy transforms, when you transform it you'd probably notice if it doesn't feel very durable, then you would pose the toy. I squeezed the C&C section where I did because on some of the more vintage toys it's something that more people are curious about and often it's likely to be something you're aware of before you even purchase the toy. That's my reasoning at least but I could definitely see where people would do things completely different. My goal is eventually to make the site a knowledge database for Macross/Robotech toys. The review scores will hopefully be far less important to people than the actual stuff they can learn about the toys themselves. It's going to take a VERY long time to get there though. Keep checkin' in to watch my progress though!

I like toys that don't require modification.

Did you not notice that RT.com had them on sale for $39.99 for the last few months? I think they just marked them back up to $59.99 though. Yeah, little tiny pics aren't as big a deal but it should be like buckling your seat belt. Doesn't matter how far you go, once you get in the car you should just automatically buckle up.
-
Kyp, just say "no" to quoting images on the same page.
-
I can't wait until the day where we see Kicker doing that same pic (on a bigger table) with all his 1/60 versions of those toys (when they're released of course)!
-
You need to convince the others to build a 1/48 scale South Atari so we could all come by and play !
-
I think the ol' MB Battlepod is between 1/60 and 1/65 scale.
-
Yeah, I had a similar thought when I was trying to be ultra delicate with my first transformation. I do think there's a chance that pulling the shoulders out and shoving them back in is aggravating the issue.
-
Did I ever post a pic to my little shoulder issue? First transformation I got this:

My review is up at anymoon.com:

Sorry, I should have clarified, I was simply speaking from a "looking at it" perspective, not actual functionality. If you were just looking at a VF-0S, not handling it, you probably wouldn't notice how loose it is either (unless yours is so bad it is actually affecting its posture). The backpack stays up just fine (on mine) but will droop a bit if you move the toy. Basically you can pose it and forget about it and not notice the major problems. Fighter, on the other hand, bows in the middle which exposes the gaps near the intakes and causes the gun to just about drag on the ground... a gun that doesn't really fit anyway.
-
I think Fighter mode is the weakest aspect of the current 0S. I'll be putting up a review soon on my site to show you exactly what i mean....
