You can recess the ankle joints in diver mode and that helps remove some of the play.

I thought we had a post somewhere that showed the knee and all its components... less from a "here's how you fix it" but more from a "holy hell, how was this the design they chose" standpoint. Yes though, Bandai likes glue which is no good for us who have to fix their products.

I received my Legioss reissue from hobby Genki, it was a weird Japan only release.

I agree... but I think the Toyrise have a higher likelihood of going on sale while the HMR line is rare to find at much of a discount. We'll see!

I'm guessing the ToyRise line for Votoms is going to be a refreshed, hopefully 100% assembled, version of the Actic Gear line. I'd probably wait and see what they're going to be like. No question Hi-Metal R is amazing but it's always going to be an investment compared to the much smaller Actic Gear or ToyRise lines. The benefit of cheap Votoms toys is battle buidling... it'd be fun to have 3 Turbo Customs going up against several Bloodsuckers... but no way I'm doing that in Hi-Metal R.

It really does look glorious. The prototypes had be concerned they were checking this release out... That is clearly not the case.

Looking at HLJ, they show the pearl gray one being available December 2009 so I think maybe it's this: 1st Yamato fan racer was the WHITE version, sold in a box, with 1000 available at Shizuoka Hobby Show in May of 2009 with the rest available through Yamato's website. NO PILOT. 2nd release is the pearl gray version that was available through normal retail. WITH PILOT. 3000 Yen December 2009. 3rd release is the CLEAR version that was packaged with the Angelbirds in December 2010 through Macross Chronicle with more being released in May 2011. WITH PILOT. Maybe some more of the clear version were available on the Yamato website.

Yeah, the weaponry all went flying off, but I thought the ghosts themselves were too tight (going off a long ago memory). Like the Yamato was a little wider than the Arcadia so you had to really pull those front canards in super tight to squeeze it onto the Arcadia. Hey treatment, I think you're supposed to remove the white part on the top of the ghost when it's in booster mode. It doesn't really make sense though, wouldn't you want it to become a normal drone if you had to jettison it?

I wanted to do some DX vs Yamato Fan Racer comparisons and was hoping someone could help me get my history right: 1st Yamato fan racer was the WHITE version, sold in a box, with 1000 available at the 2009 hobby show with the rest available through Yamato's website. NO PILOT. 2nd release is the CLEAR version that was packaged with the Angelbirds in December 2010 through Macross Chronicle with more being released in May 2011. Did this version include the pilot? I'm under the impression it did not. 3rd release (I think) is the CLEAR version on the Yamato website WITH a pilot figure 4th release is the pearl gray version that was available through normal retail and includes the pilot figure. Can anyone confirm if I have that correct?

The center white chest part underneath is also hanging way too low. Definitely optimized for soldier mode.
