  1. That's totally possible, I've seen a couple go VERY cheap when not labeled as Odon Investigation units and where the pictures were difficult to discern if it were a standard version of the rarer near black color. Darrin, did you win your red shoulder parts?
  2. Votes? No, this thread needs to be filled with pictures! I don't think any of my DX toys came with scratches before I handled them... but I suspect we're talking about minor scuffs from assembly or something so maybe it's just something I'd never notice.
  3. I'm sure that'd violate some terms of usage on Kickstarter and it would be dependent on HG wanting to sell the rights. While everything is for sale if the price is right, HG has displayed no interest in ridding itself of Robotech. A more reasonable Kickstarter effort would be for a US toy company to reach out to HG, secure the Robotech license, and then turn to Kickstarter to get the funds to build new merchandise. You guys want your perfect 1/18 scale Hovertank? Well, we've done the engineering on CAD and the molds will cost $300K, if we get that on Kickstarter you'll be able to buy it for $100. Bonus, if we get $400K, we'll release the standard and space variants. Then you would show the sweet CAD work you'd done and see if there are enough fans to warrant making the toy. If there are you could sell it for a lower dollar value since you've already recouped your mold costs. It could be a neat way of doing things.
  4. MAP-03 Review up on anymoon!
  5. Oh I think I watched that auction! I have no room also so I've never bothered picking up the SB. Good job on the BrutishDog. I'm kind of stunned Takara never gave us one as a DMZ. You'd think the first ones they would have made were the original Dual Model toys. Oh well, I'm happy we got the Strike and Rabidly Dogs.
  6. Did you sell your Bacchus off?
  7. I feel like I have to purchase this to do a review on it... but I just don't want it. Decisions decisions. Arcadia, send me one for free, I'll ship it back to you when I'm done.
  8. This is a rerun... but here's that Meliqua in action:
  9. I haven't seen III in forever but I'm thrilled they didn't leave Kirk dead. It would have been unnecessary and everyone would have whined about it being a cheap cliffhanger setting up the sequel. They should have had Kirk hold Pike and yell "HAAARRRIIIIIISOONNNNNN!!!!!" and have it echo through Star Fleet academy. I think the film did a good job of flipping TWoK on its head but I don't think they had to force the same life lesson on Kirk. Young Kirk clearly does learn SOMETHING from the events so I think getting caught up on whether or not he really has dealt with the issue of death in this timeline where he hasn't even set off on his five year mission yet is just trying to draw the parallels a little too tight. Even then, you could argue that Pike's death and his own have taught him what he needs to do since he didn't really cheat death... others cheated death for him and maybe he'll learn from his very close brush. More logic issues: 1) Humanity made Khan therefore humanity already had the ability to cure the ails of the little girl, the dead tribble, and the dead Kirk. 2) If Khan's blood could save the captain, why didn't the doctor try the blood from the other popsicles in Khan's group? Weren't they all similar to Khan and that's why they were all banished? I have a theory why the "uninhabited area on Kronos" looked like a major industrial complex. I'm going to assume that the area is like Earth's Chernobyl; there was some radioactive event there and that's why Harrison with his super-blood can hang out there alone. Also, maybe Khan's blood is only good for repairing radiation damage. Do they ever say why the tribble is dead?
  10. The chances would seem good but I don't think anyone will breathe a real sigh of relief until Arcadia releases a canon paint scheme.
  11. I think it's integral but you need to remove the canopy maybe?
  12. My brother has an ATS being delivered to him Wednesday... looking forward to a test drive.
  13. I watched it... I just... don't understand it. He gave a reason... but I don't understand how it makes any sense.
  14. I think this was hilarious... and I think it's scary people were excited about it... it's fugly.
  15. In battroid mode it looks a little like it has a tuxedo on.
  16. I will pass but I really hope we see some more announcements soon.
  17. Never mind, I missed a 1
  18. Nah, you need to pull your Toynami out again... even with all the issues of the model that's going way too far.
  19. Yes, the super parts would fit fine.
  20. I'm hoping it's at least a year away so they can get some feedback from people who adopt this kit. Then again, if Arcadia really is making 1/60 V2 toys later this year then it would seem unlikely.
