I see eBay listings for Comic-con exclusive releases of Acid Storm and Soundwave. There's nothing special about those right? They're just the same thing but available at Comic-con? Gakken, there's no Grimlock actually being reissued is there? Just a dream?- 17073 replies

I'm at work but I coulda sworn my review said the toys weren't that bad but weren't amazing either. Did I really imply they were rubbish? I thought I said that with a bit more in the box they'd be pretty decent.

I'd say both Perlman and Day did about as bad as they possibly could in that scene... and that dialog was pretty terribly written as well (out of context at least). Secondary brains? Like dinosaurs? Did I miss something about dinosaurs? Fortunately, I never really intended to watch this film for the top notch acting and witty dialog.

Hopefully they learned a lot from it before cancelling it and cancelled it because in just a few short years there have been big improvements in hybrid tech.... hopefully.

Well, I've wrapped up my projects for the evening and this won't keep me up. I get the feeling I won't have a problem finding one of these down the road. Good night and good hunting all.

"can't really complain" is a little harsh... we've been programmed to think of 35 minutes as an eternity now. After all, there's a lot of people (less informed) who will wake up tomorrow to find it went on sale but it's already sold out everywhere.
-
So what's left? Angolz and HLJ? amiami is sold out for the person that asked.
-
I think I took too long with hobby search, got a "page not found" on confirmation.
-
Like I said before... there's not a huge taste for non-heroes. I still wouldn't mind getting a preorder in though .
-
What good is Amiami's watchlist if it doesn't email you when items become available?
-
If you sold out in seconds, how much of a discount would you offer?

Practically no metal in the Hi-Metal, pretty much just the feet. You have to swap out the heat shield and the canopy, that's it. The landing gear, if you choose to use them, are also swap in/out items. Check out my full review HERE.

I don't think hot girls even have that much luck. I drove a tuned black tinted Corvette when I was 17-21. I was pulled over constantly on suspicion of being a drug dealer (It was a C4 in the late 90s so it wasn't immediately evident to most cops that I was driving a mid 80s piece of crap Corvette since the C4 body was around so long). I even endured an illegal search of my car once. What makes me think it was illegal? I came back to my car (having left it unlocked and legally parked) and found cops sifting through it! Anyway, I was raised to be very polite and respectful to law enforcement and generally after a 2 minute conversation the cops would send me on my way... sometimes with a warning if they actually had some reason to pull me over. Most of the time it was stuff like no front license plate, blacked out tail lights, 'a little loud', 'heard your tires chirp', or something along those lines. The 13th time I was pulled over I was doing 85 in a 65.

Fun fact, the thirteenth time I was pulled over was the first time I got a ticket.

Well T4 was supposed to be the first in a trilogy... something had to be saved for T6. EDIT - Also, T3 already explained that the future is going to happen, regardless, which kinda rendered the first two meaningless right?- 508 replies

Bandai 1/72 fully transform able VF-1 plastic kit for Macross 30th Ann
jenius replied to Vi-RS's topic in Model kits
The dislocating ankle panel is one of the things that is awesome about this model... kinda shocked to see someone take issue with it. I also find "cartoonish" to be a pretty funny word to complain about a model based on a cartoon. I agree there are lots of problems though. I think people have looked at their Yamato's more recently than they've looked at the show in regard to a lot of the head complaints. The 1A head looks great.... the 1S head does look a bit overdone though. -

T4 would have worked with the ending where the proto Terminator assumed the role of John Connor. It's such a good move in so many ways. It implies that even if Skynet were able to go back in time and kill Connor another Connor will simply emerge. It also explains why Skynet is having such a hard time killing him in the future.- 508 replies

It looks like the arms could have been a bit larger without protruding past the legs in fighter mode. That's a bummer because they just look too thin in battroid. When someone gets the guts to make the next toy version having the arms feature a slide out extension for battroid would be brilliant. -
I doubt you guys have to worry too much. Cannon fodders sell terrible in Japan (as evidenced by the 171 Nightmare Plus and Yamato's V2 VF-1A cannon fodder toys which both went on super clearance before the panic led them to selling out.

I remember hearing the seekers are 1/60 scale. What scale are the more recent Autobots starting with Optimus' MP-10? I don't have mine available to measure- 17073 replies
