    Okay, I think what the problem here is the difference in size between Rodimus and Hot Rod. Rodimus is in scale (MP9) with Optimus (MP10) so you could say that the scale actually begins with MP9. HOWEVER, if you view MP9 as being Hot Rod then he's too large and a new MP9 could be made specific to Hot Rod (no morphing into Rodimus gimmick) and he'd be shrunk down a bit to be in proper scale with MP10.

    Well that's kind of tough reasoning though right? Soundwave is a cassette player as big as Optimus' truck... I thought in TF it's all about bot mode.

    I would definitely give Yamato an "above average" rating over the last few years, especially if the conversation is limited to the post weak shoulder era VF-1 toys.

    I thought all the pictures of Optimus shaking Rod's hand on the box and in reviews were meant to signify that Optimus was in the same scale as Rod...

    He's not MP10 scale? I thought he was.

    Ozma's only been issued once... a second is beyond likely at this point. We also don't have tornado parts yet and I'd say those are very likely.

    I don't think people should get too hung up on the 1/72. The 1/100 Hi-Metal was awesome. If Bandai took the good things from that, made everything integral, and took some design innovation from the model (anime accurate transformation, additional articulation) it could make an amazing toy. If they did it in a larger scale they could do things like built in side covers (which I've always thought could be combined with the moving panels for perfect transformation). People can say "I'd rather they make toys no one would buy instead of another toy we'd all buy twice!" but I think most people realize toy companies don't work that way.

    I've been all about the idea that Bandai SHOULD make a DX VF-1 but I don't see any reason to think it's going to happen. I would love for them to try it but with Arcadia firing up the factory I think it's not going to happen. If they do do it, then I hope we get the anime accurate transformation and some sort of gimmick that makes the feet poseable but NOT the hip and inner leg gimmicks from the model. I would also love to see someone make it so the shield is NOT connected to the chest or is hinged so we can get a mid back joint of some sort.

    Yes, there are always rumors about more re-releases but nothing that would remotely be worth getting your hopes up for.

    I heard were getting year of the horse Hasbro mp11 for same price as Soundwave. Maybe just a rumor though.

    I haven't seen Demolition Man in a long time, so I don't know how poorly it aged, but I saw it shortly after release and thought Snipes totally stole that movie. Great performance.

    I'm hoping my 2002 Audi A4 keeps plugging for a couple more years so I can buy a house with a nice garage for the next vehicle. If the A4 died on my the 2014 CTS would definitely need to get a test drive... I'm a family man and a golfer so the bigger size sits well with me.

    I am definitely a fan of all the schemes but that lowvis scheme. If it were a very light gray I might be into but as is, no.

    I always though thought of Windows 8 not as a stupid move but a necessary evil. The industry needs to move to an interface that is phone and tablet friendly. PC software makers and users are going to take time to get used to this and MS is going to need a few efforts to get it right. Windows 8 is the first product of transition.
