    HG can't make things right with BW because BW's troubled relationship is with Tatsunoko. Those two companies do not play nice. So long as HG has their rights by way of the relationship with Tatsunoko then BW will want nothing to do with them. The only way to really SOLVE this problem is for HG's relationship with Tatsunoko to end and then Tatsunoko to sell their rights back to BW. Sorry, I know this isn't a licensing thread but I wanted to make sure we all understand that HG can never make nice with anyone because they're a non-entity as far as anyone but Tatsunoko is concerned.

    I would definitely put down some cash for a reboot of Robotech. "In 1985 Robotech adapted three unique Japanese show and made them into an epic tale that has been loved for 30 years. Unfortunately, the origin of the show and some economic hurdles along the way has made it difficult to expand the universe like we've always dreamed. So, we would like to bring Robotech to a new generation and simultaneously eliminate all of the issues tied to the original. This new story won't be the same as the original Robotech. Events will change. Places will change. Characters will change. We feel though, at the end of the day, we can capture those things that made Robotech great for you in a way that will make it great for your children. Join us." I'd be down for that... but even then I'd want some reassurance that the staff for the proposed reboot had the necessary skills.. and nothing I've seen for Robotech Academy (aside from the voice acting talent) has gotten me there.

    I'll be shocked if there's any semblance of that gap. I seem to remember some MWers fixed it by straightening out an internal piece of metal.

    Was he trying to take a leak at the beginning of the trailer but failing?

    I would expect them to pass on the missile fire effect simply because of the packaging issues. They only sold the missile effect with the standalone GBP because the missiles took as much room as a Valk..

    This was discussed, the gray goggle is specific to the GBP, not an animation error.

    Not to my eyes, in fact, I'm pretty surethey haven't made it yet so that is a Yamato.

    Udon does comics. I don't know what they announced but comics are merchandise so they can do what they want with impunity.

    Perhaps the holes to fit those two front bars could be used for attaching ghosts from the RVF-25 super set.

    I think you guys maybe misconstruing what they meant about not hittingthe target. They said they would keep trying to do the show. the ks would be refunded and there is no guarantee they would find other funding, but they would try.

    The giant harpoon is silly, as are the knife wings they tacked onto the other ship. The HG group acted like all the DVD releases were beyond their control and that Lionsgate informed them what was being released.

    No, absolutely not. He may have invoked curiosity in some but there was no sudden gust of momentum within the room. If it succeeds it will be because existing backers step up higher.

    There wasn't a lot of time for q&a but no, no relevant questions beyond 'what will you do if it fails.' And the answer was 'keep trying'.

    Hard to say, lots of empty seats but I don't know capacity.

    Sorry, not in line to ask questions. Shadow rising isn't dead but back burnered. No previous show mechs. No designs for enemy mechs yet but will be Masters themed. New mecha will be given to paladium for inclusion in their game. Tommy dropped the back to the future 2 name and Sentinels events would be visited in academy. If ks fails not all is not doomed but they went big to bring the actors in and use them for a full day rather than an hour and paying them for a full day because they're union. Doubtful, it was pitched as a set for the sentimental who wanted the grainy originals and mono audio. Ha last question is 'why does this plot sound the same?'. Tommy dodged the question by saying no boys afraid of girls drama.

    A couple more mech slides for future kickstarter updates includinga drone and stealth like vehicle. Tommy credited another artist for the Tak... Ship. The plot for academy is pretty familiar. A young group doesn't know their base has the secrets to robotech and then a fold takes them to a new universe...

    Lionsgate is doing a classic DVD featuring the original audio and the original macross series included. The bass and applause from Sharknado 2 keeps overwhelming the conversation. First Carl name drop and rt Academy. Children of Zor are last remnants of rt masters. Tommy claims Carl was secretive about rt Academy, nobody knew he was working on it.

    Tommy teased udon comics will be announcing a new rt series tomorrow. Did you know the rt narrator is still alive? I guess we should since he was in LLA... Although I haven't seen it.
