Negative, NY is also closed. It might reopen after release if they bought a few extras which is probably a safe bet.

If it sells well it probably will get reissued... but like 3 years from now judging by how the other DX toys have gone.

We have a lot of DX renewal VF-25 toys out there... I'd say they have a pretty good track record although certainly not without some faults. Amazing to see how quickly a member was able to help solve that though (hopefully). The future is here! 3D Printing is awesome.

I've been hunting for Arcadia rumors from my usual rumor droppers but I haven't heard a peep. They might be going all JJ Abrams level of secrecy on the next item... or they might be slowing things down.

A clear piece of scotch tape does the trick and is easily removed. Just cut a tiny sliver of the stuff and apply it between the wing and the rotating part.

No one can say anything for certain but chances are you'll get a break between each release unless they go crazy low price on these... and yeah... that's not gonna happen.

CDJapan is still open... do they have a pretty good reputation with these things? I haven't used them before but I seem to be on a pretty terrible streak of preordering toys from companies that never actually get them.

Man, I just tried surfing a couple of the sites and they're already slower than a snail. My hopes of actually buying anything are very slim. I can see it now... F5... spin... spin... spin... spin... sold out.

Yep, because they were reusing the first VF-1J Hikaru toys which had the problem.

I don't think 'pre-yellowing" is the right way to put it. They took old stock VF-1J Hikaru toys and put a brand new head on them. The new head was cast slightly whiter than the previous head. I don't think it was a case of yellowing but more like if you go to the paint store and get two cans of the same paint, they're not always 100% the same.
