    That looks like an integrated double-hinge, so a built in part that couldn't be offered for the VF-0D... but maybe included if they ever do a second run of the 0D.

    Once you've accepted Macross Quarter's existence and then its ability to SURF then you have accepted overtechnology and will realize that there is no issue with giant boosters precariously placed a little way from a pivot point. Heck, it actually makes sense, he can point that giant booster any where while dancing around in space and dart all over the place like a rabid hummingbird.

    Does that review say the gun has a gimmick where it pivots so it can look straight in fighter mode? Did we know the head gimmick was there also? Man, can't wait to get one.

    The original Yamato toy is the correct height for 1/60 in Battroid mode but the fighter mode was wrong (too long). By fixing the size in fighter mode battroid mode shrank. I think generally the standard these days for scale in Macross products is to focus on size in fighter mode and hope the other modes are close.

    It seemed like a half-hearted effort from the outset. If they wanted to sell these toys they needed to be touting all the improvements and have a mock-up where all the seams were flush and the hands were made of plastic. Of course, with these days of renewals people would have wanted to see bigger improvements than just materials, especially at the inflated price. Any future Mospeada products will need to originate out of Japan with Toynami acting merely as a distributor.

    I think most of us are in the same boat and we're buying it but the real answer won't be known until it's owned for a while.

    Wow... that video... it even shows super parts on the wings in battroid mode without any issues, I'd love to see it be that tight at that joint in person. Really it's pretty amazing, it definitely seems like the next logical step forward from where Yamato/Arcadia left off... let's see if they really pull it off on the production toys and don't muck it all up with durability issues.

    I really doubt there will be any issue here. It seems like it'd be really easy for HLJ to implement a block on their end if they really cared about it. If this is a problem you could just say you didn't remember making the first purchase and that their page should tell you you can't order it again because of the limit.

    I would assume that if you use warm/day lights you'll get more of a pink hue. I'm really not getting much pink from Saburo's pictures. I'm looking forward to taking it out but it seems like one of those things that most people won't notice but when you do you won't be able to un-notice it.
