I had to check my review of the original HiMetal line and this is what I found: Not sure if it's still on the HMR line or if it's not as strong on some toys as others.
-
It will be very small in comparison to 1/60 VF-1 toys.
-
Was there a VF-1S Hikaru Hi-Metal (first round of releases) toy or did that guy make one using a Focker and a Hikaru 1A?
-
They show up cheap on Mandarake often.
-
I would guess all HiMetal releases will have some metal in the joints. The Glaug will be big so metal joints will help it be solid.

The video intimates that George was planning on having Jar Jar be a sith which would be really cool but then Lucas got cold feet because of the backlash which seems unlikely. First, if the 'backlash' was that people HATED Jar Jar then leaving him the Sith would be PERFECT. Second, if he was worried about the backlash because like... maybe children loved Jar Jar or something, then that'd be stupid. I think people are just desperate to make the prequel trilogy more palatable.

WTF is that black and purple regult?
-
I really doubt the Glaug will be a problem unless Bandai produces very few of them. Unlike the Regults, it's unlikely people will make armies of them. They're not hero valks either like the Hik GBP or VF-1S Strike toys. It's possible Bandai will see this coming and cut production and it will be a pain in the butt to get but otherwise I think it will be our first easy one.

We have seen epic Black Friday sales before so the bar was set quite high... but that was back in the Yamato days when Yamato would flood the market and everyone would wait for tremendous sales to get their V2 VF-1 toys for less than $80.
-
What are they saying the new release date is? I feel like that bodes poorly for the idea of them making changes for this release...
-
You want to know if the VF-1J Miriia has the rainbow canopy effect? On my list it says: Version 2.1: These toys feature a tinted canopy and a similar crotch mechanism to that found on Yamato’s 1/48 line of VF-1 toys I never bought one though so let's see if someone confirms. If they disagree I'll make sure to update my list.

Both are a stark bright white. Unfortunately I don't have both to put right next to each other but I imagine in most cases you would think they were the same white.
-
Yes, but the only one I can remember is that the Arcadia has a yellow arrow on the head (DYRL type) whereas the "TV version" Yamato has a black arrow on the head.
-
I could see myself grabbing one just because I have the first release now and the GERWALK support isn't as sturdy as it was on the releases that followed. I don't know though... a lot of other things to spend money on right now.

Want to sale me 4?
-
That is a problem, it's just a design problem, not something broken.
-
Instead of new threads there's a newbie thread for random toy questions. There are no bootlegs of Yamato toys.
-
Is it just a part without glue or a broken part?

I've had lots of problems with Arcadia Macross Zero products but it's not making me worried about ordering this toy.
-
You only get to call it easy if you have done it.
-
Someone reminded me earlier that pre-order items didn't go on sale last year
-
We need more info, but since it doesn't exist, here's a reminder about what we're all saving for.

Count is data... thus the poll.

You could say that Luke and or the force made terrible shots of the stormtroopers. That is how it worked in Votoms for Chirico.

Sure, they may be different sculpts, they may be bigger, but they're definitely closer to the camera. You guys should see what this would look like with the integrated hands. .. I love the pic where he looks like he's looking at his hands as if to say 'are these too big? '
