They do not fit in the arms. The toy comes with tiny hands that can be popped off and replaced with optional hands. There's nothing parts-former about the shoulders. The only parts-forming is the canopy glass that gets replaced with a separate heat shield piece. Landing gear are also separate parts that get plugged in.

That's just a placeholder for the mayhem tonight.

If I knew how to paint, I would buy models!

Kind of a silly argument. It is definitely the DYRL version and they definitely screwed up the color of the missile tips. You know this is definitely the case because they put a "TV version" on the list fans could vote for. They should make the TV version come with yellow tips so for people who buy both they can switch them and finally have things right.

Nah, you can barely see the 1J when the armor is attached, no need to swap it out. I know I'll be in the group that happily has both and the bright white original.

Yep! In Bandai's universe... the TV pilots are smaller. So... is Bandai just sticking to the mold or would they contend that the cockpit looked bigger in the TV show than it did in DYRL so, therefor, they make bigger pilots for DYRL releases?

I can certainly see where x-men could do a lot with similarities to social issues surrounding homosexuality but does that mean it has to? Sounds a lofty expectation for a popcorn action flick.

More importantly, can I remove the Glaug arms and put them on my regult?

It's probably not going to cost them a ton to go and they're probably pretty desperate at this point and taking longshots. Maybe something they say to someone will lead to some sort of business getting done... I mean, I can't even guess what that business might be, but that's gotta be thinking right?

Star Trek Beyond (the not The Search for Spock)
jenius replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Into Darkness falls on its face pretty quickly when you stop to think about it, but a lot of people felt entertained and never bothered to stop and think about it. Other ST films drag giving folks time to stop and think about how bad they are while watching which is why Into Darkness scores higher.- 466 replies

Hmm, i wonder how Miria's packs would like on Hikaru's 1J...

At least they didn't get artistic with the underlying valks. I'd have preferred a more traditional look but it won't bother me to much.

I think most fell out on the DMZ side but the Yamato was also very good, just lacked paint apps. It seems a good bet anyone could have nailed it with a modern second attempt.

I thought they nailed the backpack, Yamato went small.

Has there been any indication that they're actually making a Frozen 2 or is this just people pushing agendas? Or is this inevitable? I always find out there are tons of sequels to Disney movies lurking away in the straight to video section.

There is no TV consistency, see previous page of thread.

Star Trek Beyond (the not The Search for Spock)
jenius replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
So Spock is going to be more like Sheldon? Art imitating art. I liked this trailer much better than the first, the music alone added tension.- 466 replies

In the anime the paint on the supers is not consistent so for now I'm not bothered.
