Don't put super parts on a weathering valk... you might scratch the weathering. Leave it permanently naked in fighter mode. That's why I never bought weathering valks, I need to transform my toys and didn't want to mess them up.

Not really relevant to this thread... check the HMR thread. Short answer is that some will probably be available, but it might not be more than just a handful of people canceling at the last moment. It might be much more if Bandai comes through.

No, everything is too small, the list will remain necessary with the dates, versions, and msrp. The picture version also doesn't include reissues.

Thanks! I found some historical "for sale" listings of other Weather Max VF-1S toys and it looks like the BW sticker is random so it's effectively just a normal box, same with the Hikaru 1J weathering release. Mystery solved. This thread is done, thanks everyone!

Okay, some web sleuthing and I think Hikaru 1J and Max 1S just came in regular boxes and the BW stickers are just random. I noticed I missed the first 1S Focker TV release so that's been fixed. Here's the latest rendition:

Also, I faked a hikaru weathering box in the picture above. I realize now that it also didn't have the weathering sticker so i'll fix that when I figure out the Max VF-1S weathering situation.

Thanks everybody, glad I could help (or sorry for crippling your finances!). I just updated my 'pictures wanted' thread to ask for more pictures of that weathering max VF-1S or if anyone could confirm that the only difference is that yellow BW sticker. So, if anyone reading this does have a Max weathering VF-1S, please give it a look and help me out. Thanks!

Hey guys, so I posted this pic in the Arcadia thread. Thank you for helping make it happen. It's been pointed out that I am missing the Weathering Max VF-1S box. It's also been pointed out that it might pre-date the round weathering sticker that appeared on later Weathering releases. So, I'm now looking for a straight on picture of the Yamato V2 weathering Max VF-1S release so we can see if there's any way to tell it apart from the standard release. Does it have a yellow BW sticker? if anyone owns a Yamato V2 Weathering Max VF-1S my ask is this: 1) A simple confirmation it looks the same as the regular release included in the picture below but with a yellow BW sticker and/OR 2) A picture of the box taken from directly in front of it like the boxes in the picture below Thanks in advance if you can help! EDIT - just found a picture of a "not weathering" release with the yellow sticker so I'm pretty sure it was just a normal Max VF-1S box and you had to lift up the panel to realize it was a weathering version.

Good catches. it got hard to track those weathering boxes. I'll update before the content goes up. Edit - weathering Hikaru is on there just after Miria. Max is missing though for sure, should be before the VT1.

Man, couldn't resist, I bought a second... and I never buy extras. You need one for either side of the Glaug though right? A third would be tempting in case the missile parts are just sold as add-ons or as extras with another toy. That would be a evil way to move some phalanx units.

Even Toynami had the feet too big but they had the thickness closer. CMS made it into one toe. The other huge problem with CMS was how far the knees came out under the wings. Not sure if ET addressed that. ET is going with too long of a nose in fighter which will drop down the back in soldier. Edit - this is just based on a couple pics observation. It may handle great and be better when posed differently. So far I'm just skeptical.
