Xabungle just bumped Bubble Gum Crisis out of my "what to watch next" playlist... only like 15 episodes of Dougram left.

I just got my NY confirmation also... they're slowly toiling through the backlog. They must have found the warehouse staff misbehaving and had to clean house or something.

Maybe when I finish Dougram I'll give BGC a try.

Stick, is so going to try to muscle his way into a 1/12 Scopedog at some point.

I made a ticket yesterday and mine hasn't shipped yet so it may be a coincidence. Definitely ordering elsewhere for a while.

The Figma tease is very curious but could mean anything for now. Maybe they'll do figures that pair nicely with the Riobot.

It's all a matter of implication. If the point is just to say "HLJ can save on shipping because they have a sweet FedEx deal" then sure. If the point is to say that "NY is gauging on shipping" when, in reality, they're charging very near retail, then that would be unfair... unless we know NY has the same deal worked out with FedEx and they just never reflect that. Seriously though, they still haven't shipped my RA. WTF? Even HLJ, when they were at their worst, was never this bad for me.

I have no time for models but MaxFactory is really making me wish I did. THey're doing a great job with the Dougram license.

If I own a bum VF-0D and a bum VF-0A, does that mean I have all the ingredients for a VF-0C or B? If Arcadia doesn't want to go through the hassle of doing cross licensing with Hasegawa (wonder how that 30th anniversary scheme worked) then they should go with VF-0 kit releases and include the parts for a D or A then let people make the Hasegawa variants on their own.

Head is too low, chest touches ground, arms don't lock in place... uphill battle.

I don't doubt the zero line sold 'less than expected', particularly because it was rife with QC issues (2/2 Arcadia!). I also don't know about the licensing situation but I think it's pretty clear they don't have the same ability to create SDF content that Yamato did. I would guess they have some sort of provisional licensing or some exorbitantly high costs associated with SDF releases. The Zero license is probably dirt cheap since they're likely the only company interested in producing content for it. They may also have some opportunity with Macross7 and Macross Plus. New shows mean re-bidding of licensing so sticking to Zero may be a safe bet. Who knows what Bandai will want to do for the 35th anniversary but it's almost certain they won't go full DX on Zero toys whereas it seems likely they would grab the Plus license to capitalize on their VF-19Advance mold and if they're going to make a 21 DX to support a Plus license then they should also grab the 7 license for VF-22 variants. Anyway, that's a long way of saying "I think Mac Zero is a good call for Arcadia." Also, I'm thrilled by this announcement. I much prefer the SV-51 to the VF-0.

Looks like the forearm covers don't lock in the soldier position. The proportions are off. Like the arms and legs belong to a beefier toy than the torso. The nose cone dangles too low, the head is too low, the shoulders too high, and it looks like someone was told to make a better version of the CMS toy rather than to make the best Legioss. I wonder if Sentinel would give us a T-Rex legioss if the ride armor sells well.

Hmm... looks like just a warehouse on street view, maybe someone local can check it out. The Volksusa site does have some Votoms kits though.

I think you're spot on there. New Mospeada and, if sales work out, traditional Stick and Ray. They aren't related to Beagle so it's not like they feel compelled to complete someone else's toy line. They'd probably prefer everyone sell their Beagle so they can afford the Riobot! Do the tires split in two? Odd seam down the middle... maybe just making it clear the tires will not be rubber?

Awesome animation... I love me some Mospeada. Also, this toy looks amazing. Hopefully painted prototype and release info at next Wonderfest. Fingers crossed.

That Battle7 is part of the non-scale model releases right? I wonder if it transforms or if you choose to build it in either mode. The good news about the RA Kit is that it will hide the surgery I had to do to my 0A toy... that is, if I could ever convince myself to transform that thing again.

I've heard that plastic needs to breathe a little bit in its packaging and that's why a completely sealed plastic bag is a bad way to store a toy. I don't know though, some plastic may interact with its packaging but plastic just degrades over time... the more impurities in it, the quicker it happens.. and I think that can even vary in several of the exact same toy if they weren't all made from exactly the same batch of plastic.
