LOL, man you have no idea how hard that video was to shoot! There were several instances where I had to backtrack and fix a few steps.... it was awful.

I thought we were going to get lots of Absolute Chogokin releases that would have worked better for a chess board. Sadly, that line seemed to end after the VF-1J and VF-1S.

Oh, sorry, what I meant in this case was that I had only heard of one release and one preorder, the Unit 2 with paintball guns and pitroad car. Then, when shopping around I found another release, also an exclusive, that seems to lack the pitroad car and paintball guns (can't swear on the paintball guns) but hit the streets at the same time. As you say, two versions itself isn't news but I just didn't know that was happening here. "campaign version and the regular version is, commodity specifications and shipping month is the same" I bought the pitroad car version... 'cause why not?

So it looks like Unit 2 is available in 2 flavors, one with a pitroad car and one without? That strikes me as very odd for a Tamashii exclusive. Am I wrong?

I'll get one, was going to start doing a review on this line soon. When is that LE one coming out and how many are being made? I couldn't find that any where.

You always want to produce a little less than demand. It keeps your customers (retailers) happy. Bandai is watching the frenzy and high fiving each other, not wishing they made more. Now people are going to talk and say "I wish I got that DX toy" and help Bandai market their toys further. They want to sell goods but they also want to be the hot item and not leaving stuff in the shelves accomplishes that.

I really enjoyed this analysis. When I finished Delta I was surprised that I didn't walk away from it thinking "I wish I had my time back". I wasn't thrilled with it but I didn't feel ripped off or anything. There were lots of individual gripes that would pop to mind and I think you've hit all of them and some more. -
Well, the Monster didn't have windows either but that would have been very hard to do. I'm not a fan of windows so I can live without it but I'd have preferred a flip top lid.
