I don't think licensing is stopping Bandai, I think they just haven't released many naked valks yet. I think Arcadia is paying through the teeth for the SDF license so they aren't doing accessories standalone because they'd have to charge too much for them.

But Bandai hasn't done it for HMR. Arcadia said there was a licensing issue around the individual release of strike parts.

So I finally made it to the end of Dougram... and boy, what a marathon. I feel like it was a show that kept getting extended so they kept finding ways to prolong it... but it does end right where it begins so that's probably not what happened. It's like the show builds momentum and then strives to steadily lose all of its momentum at the exact point it ends... dying a slow plodding death. For me it was an interesting bit of mecha anime history but not something I would recommend most people dumping the time into.

Boutique shop vs mass producer. If you don't like the price that's fine, it's just a toy, don't buy it. I'm worried/hoping we're going to see a DX for like 12000Y with all the Tampo we can dream of in a year. That would be the mass producer item you're clamoring for and it seems likely so Arcadia should make money now. We don't know the licensing situation or what they paid for the molds so we roll with the punches for now. Maybe Bandai will troll us with a chunky monkey reissue.

Totally. They could have then made Maul so incredibly powerful that Anakin HAD to use the dark side to defeat him which then caused his turn. Of course, Maul could have been better also if he was given more personality.

SW has been struggling on the bad guy front for a while. Maul seemed cool but didn't last, Dooku and Greivous were meh.

Agreed... but I wish the toy version of this Valk focused more on battroid mode.

Well one of those scenes might be the Knights of Ren destroying Luke's temple which would be nice to have clarified from the snippets in 7.

No, it's a fear, not a confirmed thing. Like we'll all spend $300 on 3x premium releases just to have Bandai say "here's an even better toy."

I would like to see the heel pivot upward and the whole foot me smaller. If someone could figure out a way to get the toe to slide into the foot that would help. That's asking a lot though... especially for a stable foot in diver mode.
