    I will say I misinterpreted the question, they could have gotten the license for "Macross" through HG because we've certainly seen Toynami do that... they just couldn't sell it in Japan. Seems like it would have been easy to make like half of them RT branded and half Macross... not sure why they didn't go that route. Maybe they're huge Robotech fans or think their target market is China and USA and Robotech would do better there.

    This is why I proposed it would make a great 2 movie series with the 1st movie actually being a prequel that covered all the stuff that kept getting alluded to in the series. Then the series itself could just deal with the fruition of everything from the 1st movie. It would also be a great way of doing things so that a 'cold' viewer could essentially hop right in.

    I feel like there are so many amazing valks that haven't had their fair share of screen time that Kawamori doesn't need to keep cranking out crazier and crazier more complicated valks... they can just go back to the well and give the VF-19, 22, etc. a chance to shine.

    The Calibre Wings guys also said HG was a lot easier to work with the than BW. That, and this decision, may also hinge on the domicile of the company. If you're in Japan it may be easy to get a license for Macross but if you're from outside of Japan then BW and the whole legal situation may make it really hard (and vice versa).

    They wanted $160 for MP-10 at Comic-con... I laughed and continued on my way. Buy one get one 40% off would make things a lot more appealing. Anyone know someone willing to be proxy for an MP-711 for me?

    Shipping by boat? I'm not convinced that I might be better off using HLJ and shipping it with my vf2SS.... NY is not cheap by air and they don't offer much of a break for combining. Decisions decisions.

    Well the Beagle is pretty epic, we'll need to see more of the Sentinel to judge better. I'd bet the Sentinel will have a better transformation and hopefully they learned how to do the suit better.

    I don't think the changed appearances are for rights issues since comics are considered merchandise... I think it's an effort to get the fan base to start imagining things different so they don't lose their stuff when the movie doesn't resemble Macross at all.

    Yeah... that looks like a glorified doll stand, I don't think you'll get flying poses unless there are some tricks up its sleeves.

    I don't know that I'd call the tampo delicate... I just had one marking that rubbed in battroid mode.

    I'm sticking with non premium after my Roy... though now I'm wondering if preordering Miria is dumb because so many will cancel their preorders and it will make it to ask HLJ sale and then have it shipped with a Max.
