My problem with preordering these AG releases, which I would love to support, is how quickly they become available at huge discounts. Two months after release it seems like you can get them for 33% off. Before I've even opened mine I feel like I've way overpaid.

Guardian mode looks derpy. I like the bigger head in battroid mode but it probably causes issues in fighter/Guardian. Yes, I'm using RT terms 'cause it's KC. Hey, where's the GBP for my super deformed VF-1J? That's what I want from KC.

Man, I want a VF-31J Kai Bummed I missed it at CDJ, I wouldn't have thought twice about that price.

I spoke to one of the guys at Sentinel, he was lobbying to start the line with Houquet (obviously, he was out-voted... probably by the accountants). Suffice it to say, it's definitely under consideration. Since the accountants won that discussion, they'd probably win any discussions about how well sales of Stick and Ley have to be before a Houquet or Yellow gets green lit.

NY has randomly decided not to carry items in the past. Like for Votoms, they carried one of the two recent AG releases and they're not carrying the 5pro toys coming out in December. Either way, when their shipping is calculated they'll just be equal to everyone else on price.

If they were going for line art accuracy i would agree. Since it's based on the new design I'm not put off. I think Beagle would have been hard to beat so I'm glad they differentiated themselves there. This would made it easy for me to go all in on both lines if Beagle had continued.

I wonder if they're essentially making both at the same time at the factory to save on costs since it's just a gauntlet and figure swap. It probably saves a lot of money to make one run of motorcycles that's many more pieces instead of two separate runs.

I wonder where NY is with the 52T order. I was going to grab it with an E=X Garland. Might have to just use HLJ since, when shipping is factored in, it probably would cost about the same.

No news yet but there's a big show in December (I think) that should give us more clarity on Bandai's plans.

It's a long jaunt, buckle up! What I appreciated the most was the whole "from my perspective, you're the bad guy!" aspect of it. Rather than a clear cut good vs. evil take on things, there's a ton of nuance.

I got my AG-V19 in today... but I don't get it. Why does it come with the Uoodoo spec Red Shoulder custom? What does that have to do with the Battle on Quent? I mean, it's a cool Scopedog and all but wouldn't a normal scopedog have made more sense?

That's a great suggestion. I was hoping to make the jump to 4K in the new year, maybe a better branded/standardized intro should be part of that process.

There's a picture of a few steps of the transformation. As I recall, it's got some big differences from Beagle which is a plus in my book. I'm a little worried about head articulation in armor mode. Fingers crossed for awesome!

At least they told us they're making some tweaks. I think I want my HMR Defender that's shipping with it more than the VF-1J toy at this point.

I'm confused why these aren't AG-EX releases. What's the difference between EX and V? Many of the EX releases are combo packs, none of the original V releases were other than the Transporter which came with a Scopedog (AG-V14).

Too soon to panic folks. The lotto might still mean it's not too hard to come by for Tamashii accounts... it may just mean trading a couple months for a price that ultimately may not be that much cheaper.

If it's worth it is a good question but a view on someone else's channel is one less view on my channel and you make money when people view your channel... not your content on other people's channels.

They should do a website exclusive Melkia version with parachute pack! I'd buy it. Speaking of which... I haven't heard about my Scopedog that's undergoing repairs for a couple weeks now....

Youtube kinda sucks. Someone can, and did, copy a ton of my library and there's no ability to report that user so long as that user isn't pretending to be me (though I would say anyone who copies all your videos is implicitly impersonating). Instead, I have to go to each video and pair it with my original video in a copyright complaint. They also cap how many copyright complaints you can make a day. So, if someone copies 100 of my videos, I have to submit like 15 copyright complaints a night to get each video taken down until I've gotten them all removed. Each night Youtube reviews the complaints, sides with me, and takes down the 15 individual videos. I don't think anything happens to the user... they just have their content disappear and anyone who uses the URL will get the "this video was taken down for copyright reasons" error. So, I appreciate when you guys let me know my videos are getting copied. Unfortunately, this is just a hobby i do in my spare time so all the copyright stuff does take away from my ability to generate new stuff.

Thanks I'll check it out when I'm in front if a computer again and do the copyright thing... Guess my videos are getting more popular with all the re-uploading going on lately. Update- copyright complaints submitted. I think there's some Russian media outlet that is trying to drive traffic to their clips so they use bots to create a bunch of fake accounts that contain a ton of their Russian video clips and then copy other videos from other users to make it seem less fake... and for some reason I'm always one of those other users... probably a Macross fan helped write the code for the bot.

BBTS gives you a guaranteed price (no currency fluctuations) and renowned customer service from a local (for US buyers) shop. That's probably worth some premium to some folks. I had points at CDJ so that made my decision for me but I could definitely see opting for BBTS on this one even if the $$ did work out in the favor of AE, NY, or even HLJ.
