I didn't realize the ET red legioss is a limited distribution item. Maybe that explains why NY and CDJapan aren't carrying it.CM's did that with their green and red legioss toys... then when they couldn't get rid of the stock they let every store have them.

The good news is, she has the pope head instead of the Anubis head so if Bandai is going to milk it for a DX offering, they're going to have to make the Ba after all.

Will the PF version have all the runner parts installed? I hope so.

There were lots of Yamato hard points sheered off too.

Yes, there is a twist trick to the missiles but I don't know that being really good about the twist guarantees you won't break them.

Yeah, you're definitely going to be paying for a tiny production run on these figures. SHFiguarts pricing with 10% the articulation and accessories. I wish Rick had a helmet he could hold.

Cool... and from the looks of the background... that person has been working at it a while.

Looks like a prototype 1/72 as the backdrop. The figure looks great... Curious about pricing.

Tomahawk has to be the next release right? IT HAS TO BE!

We discussed previously that they also painted the hair wrong, Rick has Roy's hair and vice-versa. The person who posed them was probably just trying to get them to stand and the backward lean is inadvertent. It's like all the times we see mistransformed mecha on display... the booth person is just a booth person.

The HMR line is between 1/80 and 1/100 scale. The Koenig that currently exists is 1/120 scale. I guess if we see HMR VF25 we can start hoping for a Koenig renewal in scale but I don't think a reissue of the existing you with an HMR label would cut it.

Any thing they spent on the Kickstarter campaign, any shows they attended and related expenses, they could classify marketing in lots of ways. Who thinks Palladium has any value? I don't get the point here. That worthless company with an awful reputation should be punished! Are people hoping to get the value from the molds of those awful miniatures?

For reals, we have a July dx release but nothing past April in HMR.... We need more plastic smack.

I suspect that CDJapan is gonna hook it up tonight... they seem to be the safest bet though not the biggest discount.

Suing palladium seems like a joke. I'm sure Kickstarter makes it clear that things can go wrong and things do go wrong when companies are trying something new. Now palladium is like three guys in a garage without their biggest license... A backer wanting to sue them is just a person who was ill prepared to be on Kickstarter or is eager to kick a corpse.

HG shouldn't be scapegoated here... as awful as they are. This is all Palladium's fault. I love how they try to push the blame entirely on Ninja Division. "Look, we knew we didn't know what we were doing, but we thought they did!"

Consolidated Megazone 23 Toy/Model Thread for 2017-2018
jenius replied to RavenHawk's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
1) You're not considering a very important element, when the factory says they can put their order in. There's no apples to apples about the severity of rework and the timing. I imagine there is some sort of a time when they have to lock things in and a clause about missed windows and future availability... If they're really fortunate, they're reaching a date in which they have to say "Make this or reschedule without penalty" and they're choosing to reschedule. 2) This goes to the first item, delaying things has to be expensive for them in a lot of ways and they may even be paying fees to the factory. Hopefully they've budgeted in some issues into their original projections... at this point they have a lot of history to use for that. While the first Garland's price isn't in trouble, I wouldn't be shocked by a price increase on the variants... but at least the final result should get glowing reviews if they're putting all this love into it so maybe demand will let them do a reissue and make everything right. Does this mean my blue and white version won't ship until 2019?- 821 replies
