Ha, no, I was only referring to Aoshima models as per Gabriel's remarks. I can never forget the Aoshima New Century Alloy Legioss. All the promise of improving on the crappy Toynami build quality... only to deliver a toy that was even worse!

Yeah, you're still backward. A toy needs to exist in a physical form where it can accomplish all three modes. In this instance, that can only be accomplished with the dome being too high in fighter and GERWALK modes unless a telescoping function is added. As you say, without the telescoping it wouldn't be able to do battroid, and we know it can and would never be made where it couldn't. Again, I refer you to the 1/55. Yes, we can call this a semantics argument but I think it would only ever be pointed out because the 1/55 does not telescope and achieves all modes but this telescoping let's it do so in a more attractive manner.

The only Aoshima 1/48s I remember were reissues of the Imaii transformable.

The thing with Poe is that is consistent with his character. Now that he's been severely humbled they have set him up for a little less wise cracking. Basically, the droids are the OT comic relief and other trilogies have struggled with that recipe. TPM tried JarJar. I will take juvenile Poe over JarJar. -
You're looking at it backward, it has to telescope to not sit so high in fighter. See the old 1/55 releases.

I would guess that KC can't get a license from BW which makes their product unlicensed goods in Japan... Someone may have thought that since it didn't say Macross it'd be okay to sell it but then realized that's not the case.

Yes, it's clear Bandai hasn't figured out a ball jointed 1S head yet for the HMR so that really makes the Max 1A/1S a long shot but hey, if I ran Bandai that's what I'd do. I'd also just provide a sticker sheet for the modex like they did with the DX Grace/CF VF-27. An HMR with a Figuart is a daydream... too bad 'cause I think they'd be awesome. In other news, I just posted a review of the HMR Regults, head on over to anymoon to check it out!

You might be forgetting the February release of the Freeing E=X Garland or maybe the PF VF-1J Miria? March also has the VF-31A if that's your thing. Don't rest though, April may finally see the release of the Fewture Garland and I think the ET Zeta Legioss is currently scheduled for April as well!

I don't know about their shipping times but you can get it at NY shipped by SAL for the same price as the unshipped HLJ price. Edit, it was also available at hlj earlier today too. I have one in order there because I can ship it with some other toys I bought.

I think it's like bbts having Macross items... It happens occasionally but it's not really supposed to so it's fleeting.

You're talking about the SD right? I have one in my pile of loot right now. That sounds like a good usage. I almost wish they were smaller, I think I could come up with more uses for them that way.

The elint by Yamato was already covered in tampo... I don't see how they could do a PF version which actually might make a reissue less likely since PFs appear to be part of the business model now. Super stoked on the HMR elint. I know it won't compare to my Yamato but, I love the size and price tag, so hopefully it's fun.

Yes, the treatment of Maul was one of the many shames of TPM. They should have made Maul a bad butt for several movies, ruthlessly killing Jedi, and had Anakin embrace the dark to dispatch him. Then you have the remaining Jedi reject Anakin because he went dark side to make him okay with pairing with Palpatine. No bad dreams, no killing younglings, no midichlorians, great success!
